@BanGayMarriage which law is that cupcake? - the one where we can own slaves - or sell our children into slavery - or torture or commit human and animal sacrifices or rape or or or . . . who would have respect for a god so evil and so horrific except for those whose ignorance allows it? Jesus spoke relentlessly on sin yet NEVER condemned homosexuality - and even went so far as to bless and hold up as the ideal a gay relationship in Matthew 8 and Luke 7.

@thegayprovocateur You know as well as I do that not all of the Old Testament rules are in place. Christ changed the rules of the game, so to speak. The real question is WHICH rules remain and WHICH rules are voided. But as far as the rules against being gay are concerned, these are ALSO repeated in the New Testament, so one may safely assume that they are still in place, although they no longer carry the death penalty like they did in the Old Testament.

@thegayprovocateur It doesn't have to be attributed to Christ directly to count. Paul spoke on behalf of the Lord as well, and he condemned gays aplenty.

@thegayprovocateur Who's talking about the *Old* Testament? Paul is in the New. And besides, Christ also makes fairly explicit statements in favor of heteronormativity. Look at Matt. 19:4-5, for instance: "And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?"

@BanGayMarriage christ was talking of divorce buttercup - but dueling with passages makes little effect for what if i point to what he said later in that chapter verse 12: "Some are incapable of marriage because they were born so" . . . is he talking about gay men? the point is christ NEVER condemned homosexuality. If it were such a grave sin as you say and he spoke relentlessly on the subject of sin - why did he never explicitly condemn it? because sweetie - he didn't judge it to be sinful!

@BanGayMarriage that's my point love - you can take any verse out of context - like the faux christians do - and twist it to promote their own interests. what cannot be taken out of context is the fact that christ NEVER condemned homosexuality as a sin. and it think this is what they call - game - set and match! ;-)

The NT does in fact condemn homosexuality and tells us that homosexuals won't enter the kingdom of God. "Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men" 1st Corinthians 6: in verse 9

If you are not saved, please repent (turn and apologize God) of your sins and trust (commitment to Christ) in Jesus because He died on the cross even though He committed no sin and rose again from the dead on the third day. RepentAndBelieveOrNoHeaven

@creationcenterTV i didn't say the NT never condemned homosexuality i said christ NEVER condemned homosexuality but indeed praised and blessed a homosexual relationship in Matthew 8 and Luke 7. and as an aside - the passage you use as an example are comments made from Paul in which the greek word commonly mistranslated is "malakoi" which in context was not a condemnation of homosexuality but of same sex "prostitution" and/or "promiscuity" among men toward both sexes. hugs

Whether the guy is hairy or not doesn't matter at all. A smooth bear can be just as attractive...I've met plenty of them. It's more the personality, masculinity and how a bear carries his weight that attracts me. Actually, I'm kinda' surprised that more bear type men don't do the clean cut thing. It's not that goatees and beards are bad, but they are a bit overdone I think. I honestly have a hard time telling bears apart.

Give me a clean cut bear in a suit any time..hair/no hair. -Chaser

i kinda agree about telling bears apart sometimes is hard, lol it really is about the individual which, while i love the bear scene, sometimes individlity gets lost a little. also ya a clean cut bear can be hot i agree, even a refreshing chnage, i dont even think to be a bear a man has to be ultra masculine....thats why a bear is supposed to be sweet and warm, which is sexy.

The bear movement was founded to FIGHT elitism, and has now become a bastion of fur fascism. Whoa!! C'mon man. As a smooth cub I myself may place the furrier daddies on a pedestal. But C'mon don't throw rocks at someone just because they say something like that in good humor. Lest you forget that part of the Bear moment is the good natured /easy going/ vibe that allows us to be inclusive in the first place. I'm not a furry guy but i have enough security in my ability to run with the "bears" that simple off hand comments aren't call to arms for me ;)
