I died over 20 times trying to climb those falling stairs, cause I was never able to get my feet on it...then with luck, I landed, then beat the stage! :D (with my heart beating fast) XD
@6Death6Feast6 I have played this on the SNES as I've owned it since it was released. In fact, I'm even better on the console than I am using an emulator with a keyboard.
Always wondered if the bridge was falling apart and the bats were simple just underneath the bridge or if the bridge was falling apart and turning into bats.....if it is fall apart and transforming into bats i always thought it would make a memorable movie special effect if this was made into a movie rather than that crappy Van Hellstink they made
2:38 that part was where i stuck, i never died with the spikes, simply i fell in the progressive precipice, who the fuck invented that? the more you climb, the higher reach the precipice!!!!!!
Dang, you make this look so easy. I always fine it difficult with those hovering stones going straight towards the last spikes...dang, that's tough. Very good job!
I die at the very end of this video, every time. Actually, that's the reason I'm watching this video right now, to see if that last jump is even possible, which it is.
I remember that same thought, back in 1992. You know it is possible, but it really is the hardest part of the game, as this video even shows quite well. Usually when you get these videos, you get somebody who just breezes through, but he had to catch himself in this video at that part, and I thought that just went to show the awesomeness of this game.
@2turbotitaniumxtreme Yeah, if you practice enough at that part you can usually make it through with no problems. But every now and then you WILL screw it up a couple of times, no matter how good you are/how much you practiced.
The thing me and my brother discovered which was unique to this game and is a legend in itself.. the 'castlevania heart syndrome'.. seen at 1:15 .. the candle over the spikes.. if you collected the heart which the candle held, you died instantly. so whats the point?! lol
yes,i think it's the only castlevania where you have a button for the special wepon, you don't have to press up/right or up/left+A to use it.you can also rotate that chain 360 degrees, the music is the best, graphics outstanding etc
@LivesInCastlevania And it is, Vampire Killer and Beginning were my favorite soundtracks, if I ever make a video of this game it will be, it will be on Gameanyone
I love this level, but the d-pad in my SNES controller is so worn out and it is usually one large plus sign button that you press. So when I got to the ring part, when the song plays "Beginning", I would fall from the stairs because the d-pad was so loose.
I hope when I get the classic controller or even my Gamecube controllers, the same thing won't happen. I hate Nintendo D-pads, I perfer the ones from Playstation because each directional button is separated from the other.
wow! I'm impressed! you made this level look so simple. this is my least favorite level in the entire game. i struggle with that stupid spiked wheel so much. I also hate the fact that if you miss a stepping stone, you become a sitting duck to the spiked wheel of doom that follows you underneath.
Ah the heart pumping race to reach the top of the tower unscathed, simply brilliant variation in gameplay. Many a time i have missed the stairs at 1.20, although i could have sworn my finger was on the upwards arrow of the D-Pad. I blame myself as the controls are exceptionally fluent!
I was alarmed and admire your recklessness, you could have easily fallen off the screen at the last platform jump to reach the top, specifically at 2:29.
This level is a pain in the ass..the steps that fall, the damn wheel of death on the bottom that comes up after you,and the moving platforms..i hated this level..
But thanks for upping it,good quality and you got skills my friend. =]
Thanks, and yes the song at the very start of the level is Vampire Killer, then when your climbing those falling steps trying to avoid the "Spiked Wheel'O Death, the song is Beginning, and the music for the mini-bosses I believe is called "Room of Close Associates"!
It all depends on the size.....and your connection speed. Slower connection speed and larger file size increase the time needed to upload. Connection speed can be changed easily, but you can adjust the file size by editing your videos in Windows Movie Maker! Hope that helps you a bit.
lol thanks....this level used to give me major problems...mostly those stupid floating platforms....but after practice...and I mean lots of practice, I finally got the hang of it!
Man this stage was so hard for me, it took me hours to pass this stage, and when i did my heart was beating fast as hell, but u make it look so easy *bows head* "im not worthy"
haha, thx man! But what you see is the result of year and years of practice!!..lol, this game came out when I was 5 and I've been playin ever since...but who can blame me for being addicted to this awesome game!?!?!
I died over 20 times trying to climb those falling stairs, cause I was never able to get my feet on it...then with luck, I landed, then beat the stage! :D (with my heart beating fast) XD

Wow....I have to say that the pc - version of the game is a lot easier as the snes one.
You are 3 times faster when you hit with your whip and you can throw more boomerangs at on time.
Good run...but try to replay it on snes....I'm sure you wont do it!^^

@6Death6Feast6 you can throw 3 at once when you get the upgrade. you get the upgrade by using a weapon a lot, and then checking the candles.

irbb07 1 year ago
@irbb07 It's titled "Beginning". First appeared in Castlevania III, so technically, this was only it's second time being used.

@BeholdMyStrength Nope. It is called Bloody Tears!
9dissection9 10 months ago
@9dissection9 No, the song played in Stage A, the clocktower is Bloody Tears. The song played in B2 here IS "Beginning".
