I'm curious, the inner circle of Stonehenge was built ~ 3600 years ago, The Winter Solstice 12/21/2012, is also the evening the 3600 year Mayan calendar ends.
Is there any ancient stories passed down by the Druids of what might be expected that evening?
Is it the evening of a special Dark Red Sunset/Moon rising viewable from the alter stone?

If you're in the Southern Hemisphere, it won't be the Winter Solstice. If you're on the Moon, it won't be anything special. That's how self-centred we are.

can some one help me iv been reading bout druidism and i find it fits my beliefs of nature and all of what i think bout in school when im bored and try to work out but im afraid of saying im thinking of being a druid to my friends or family because of how they will judge me and iv read that u can be a christian druid and then iv read u cant be a christian druid can someone clear that up for me plz?? thanks

wow. I only ever been to Glastonbury Tor once, a very long time ago and seeing this makes me want to go again ever more. Although the fog did obscure the sunrise on that day it does add to the sense of mysticism.
