@PJMAN2952 its not heavy and yes it is portable and no i dont use it as a desktop replacement...i bought this laptop because of its battery life and i7 processor..i only use it for school work...if your looking for a portable laptop i would say wait for the macbook air refresh...if you need a desktop replacement...go with the imac 27....if you need both...get this laptop

How crisp is the screen? I'm planning on bringing it to school for taking notes, storing music, movies, photo editing, Internet, 3d modeling, word processing, and windows 7 gaming. Is 4gb ram fine for this? How about the 750gb hdd? Does It get very hot?

@3241994 No it shouldnt the new Intel Sandy Bridge processors are different the i7 version is a Quad core 2.2Ghz and upgradable to 2.3Ghz. The old dual core i7 is 2.7Ghz. Only the 13inch uses dual core now and this guy has a 15inch.
