@trigon7510 More recently in their duo? For sure that's fanservice and teasing for you. In Morning Musume it's a little different and hard to explain if you don't understand how idol groups work. They play characters. Yossie played a tomboy character and Rika a girly character so they were naturally paired off as a boy and girl set. It had zero to do with being lesbians.

@trigon7510 No. They are in a duo called Hangry & Angry that like TaTu did tease the whole lesbian gimmick but it is just that..A gimmick. Neither have ever confirmed that they are lesbians. Some fans suspect Yossie may be a lesbian but those are just rumours that have no real facts to support them. Until they confirm it themselves or factual truth confirms it then we can only assume they are not gay.

Makoto Ogawa gradated in 2006 from Morning Musume. I think her graduation ceremony was the last live performance of the "Ribbon no Kishi" play, and there was a send off at one of the concerts that year for her and Asami Konno,  I'm not entirely sure, but I imagine someone out there will correct me on the finer points.

I think nono definitely took it the wrong way. Practically everyone did. Being the 'girlfriend' type doesnt necessarily mean more feminine. Its like shes too feminine and cute that everyone thinks of her as a little sister and as innocent, where as im assuming people would prefer someone whos a bit more mature and presents themselves better as a 'girlfriend'

It was pretty close. I think Aibon was cuter at this age ... but Nono is cuter now. Since we have learned that Nono liked pulling the skirts off the girls while performing ... and attacked their butts and breasts, I'm surprised she got that many votes ... but then perhaps Aibon participated in the de-skirting as well. Yaguchi-san would know them best ... and she chose Aibon.
