I'm sorry, no battleships were sunk, besides the Roberts went up mainly against the Chokai and the Chikuma, the Chokai being Takao-class, and the Chikuma being Tone-class, the battleship that sunk the Roberts was the Kongo, which was the lead ship of it's class, the Kongo sunk the Roberts, but the Kongo suffered no damage at all, though the Chokai and Chikuma both had their superstructures damaged, and the Chikuma was sunk but not by the Roberts, it was sunk by the Heermann.

Not just the ships where attacked.

i love this game, i played through insanely annoying lag (like i would have to alt tab the game and wait 2 minutes before i could play for 10 seconds) but i finally gave up on the mission where the lexy sinks and you go up against those 3 carriers. I dont know why it doesnt work, i have the qualifications and even turned all the settings down to lowest

Strafing ships barely damages them unless you hit a weak point, and that's pretty rare. You'd be better off suicide bombing your planes and getting more built from your hangar.

Subs are hard. The rest of the stuff is cinchy. It's really like the Battlefield series - the controls for one class apply to all the others of the same class. So if you know how to captain a DD, you can captain a BB with the same stuff.

Subs require a lot of strategy and a different mindset, that's why it's so hard.
