@smashbros99 Eiji Aonuma confirmed the split timeline. Majora's Mask and Wind Waker are both direct sequels to Ocarina of Time, but the timelin splits after the event of OoT. Wind Waker takes place in the future that Link left behind and Majora's Mask is his quest to save Termina shortly after he leaves Hyrule as a child to find a friend he had been separated from, probably Navi.
