@microchillin It is a beautiful song from the briliant album "Oil on canvas". I also love "Quiet life" and "Ghosts". Not forgetting their version of "I second that emotion". Unfortunately I have about 500 requests, and it's impossible to do most of them. I'll be straight with you. I'm not going to be able to get around to doing it. Thanks for the suggestion though. Great Job MAn,George sang it first I believe and had a slower temple,yours was more like Elvis with the faster temple. I like both,just depends the mood your in. Actually I like the faster verson which you did . Keep it up.

Wasn't it originally George Jones' song? Not to take anything away from it, but your description says its a Costello number, but he did a cover it, not the original, methinks.

Yes I do believe you are right. If you look at the first comment left on this video, they mention George Jones as the first performer, but not the writer. Apparently it was written by "Jerry Chestnut"

I have nearly 20,000 songs in my i-tunes. And to make it easier on me, I have inbeded "one of becca's favorites" in the titles of the songs I have loved very much. A great song. Never heard the Elvis Costello version (I didn't even realise he had sung it) but I know the George Jones version. Jerry Chestnut wrote it, but I don't know who sang it originally. Anyway great song, and well sung!

Well now you've taught me something. After consulting my music bible, I see that "Elvis costello" had a hit with it here in the UK in 1981. THakns for the view. I appreciate your comments. I think I'm going to try and find out who wrote it :)
