@m5p944 Yes, some of those guys have pulled over 460kg - but not like this, they have pulled that kind of weight on e.g. the hummer deadlift or the dollar deadlift - where you pull from a higher starting point and the full weight of the bar doesn't kick in until they are half way through the lift. Bolton and Benny Magnusson are the kings of the conventional deadlift. And Dikul's video is real.....I just don't believe the weight that's on the bar was what he said it was

Valantin Dikul dealifted 460 kg with relative ease at age circa 53-55 .See his videos. It was unofficial ,but officiated by Guiness Book . Dikul is a natural strong man.He also walked out a 450 squat and walked it back without any spotters !Incredible. He lifts 180 pound kettle drums over head with ease and juggles 60 -80 pound balls.He is the strongest "natural" contemporary athlete .

He was a showman. In fact he was freakin strong but he was mainly a showman. And in 1999 there was PL meets in russia!
