@imjackcooper Well, The West Wing isn't like Parks and Rec at all -- it's very very carefully scripted and edited, every line written exactly the way it's supposed to be delivered. All you just have to memorize and practice. You have to do it a LOT, and you have to be able to act well to pull it off, but that's all you have to do. Parks and Rec is a lot looser, the lines have a lot more ambiguity, the actors improvise a lot, etc. Very different talents.
