Did I miss the part where you mentioned "Miracle on 34th Street"? Wasn't that one of her bigger roles? I would venture to say that it's probably one of the more popular movies she did, at least to the present day audience.
Had to come back and report that Maureen O'Hara was staying in the hotel that I work in last week.. I even saw her quite close.. It really made my year.. She is looking as strong as ever.. Lots were bothering her, flashing cameras n intruding in on her privacy, when all I wanted to be was in her presence.. Not many understand why I like this movie star so much, but she's amazing and that's my opinion and I'm so glad that I got to see her when I'm only 22..
I adore Maureen O'Hara and I'm so happy that people still appreciate her work. I have few friends that cherish her work as much as me but am always so grateful yo see such a great fan base for her to this very day! Great work bloodybones345 !
Great video, I'm reading the autobiography now, so maybe I spoiled some of the stories for myself, by watching.. But brilliant..I too am from Ireland and don't live too far away from Ranelagh.. Just am totally in awe of this powerful woman.. And I love how after all that time and effort spent in America, Mrs. O'Hara still kept her accent.. A true sign of a devote Irish loyal..
I think some of you are being overly critical, as can be told by looking at the authors profile she was only about 19 or 20 when she made this and she did an extremely good job. Yeah it's not perfect but was obviously a labor of love look at all the hard work care that was put into, the use of clips photos that synchronized with the what she was talking about. Keep up the good work your admiration for the legendary Maureen O'Hara is wonderful :)
I think the film work and the biographical information seems intact, but your narration lacks the depth and experience, a trained voice would of accomplished, nonetheless, it is very interesting and engaging....the voice really lowers the bar of standard, though. it's not the time frame rushing your voice, youre unexperienced, and perhaps the narration could have been rewritten with pauses, and a cadence...But, again, it was good, very good...you may have talent there...
yeah, I was trying to everything I could to keep the video under (or close to) ten minutes. That was the limit. If I'd had more time to work on it I would've fixed the narration and cut some stuff out, but I only had so much time. I'm glad you enjoyed it though.
I really enjoyed watching/listening to this:)

Too fast talking, missed most of it, all a blur. Oh well,... Maureen is my favourite and has been for many years.

It's not so much how fast you're talking.... it's mostly the equalization you used.
