People should be thanking me since I'm getting really good mileage and improving their mileage as well, but they usually don't look at it that way. Got his description, the make, model, and color of his truck AND the license plate. Called 911. The police said they didn't see it so they couldn't do anything about it. Left lane lurkers are infinitely more dangerous than speeders because they encourage reckless behaviour in close proximity to other vehicles. The left lane is for passing or turning only. If you're getting passed on the right, you're the problem.

Most states at least specify slower traffic must move to the right, note that speed relative to posted limits is not a caveat there, and some take it further to say the left lane is for passing and turning only. If you are impeding the flow of traffic in the left lane, regardless of your speed, you are in violation of the law.
another reason for you to get over when being tailgated is because often there is not enough room for any one to pass on the right but there is enough room for you to get over. some of you will say that im only slowing you down for 5-10 minutes. when i am driving 800 miles getting slowed down even for 1 minute makes my trip take about a hour and a half longer than if no one slowed me down. if you can sit an the fast lane and mover over before ihave to slow down for you then i dont care

The other day driving at the speed limit I had a jackass tailgating me then pass me at high speed on a city street not highway I could see this guy weaving in an out of traffic ahead tail gating every car that got in his way forcing them to move over .At the next set of lights I noticed this car had pulled into a Mcdonalds store with guess who getting out ,a cop in uniform.I turned in the next driveway,no emergency he was just ordering his lunch !

I don't drink and drive, i don't drink much to begin with, never done drugs, not into anything really 'deviant' for that matter, I have one vice. I drive fast. I generally drive 5 mph over the limit. I would call myself a bit of an aggressive driver, that doesn't make me a BAD driver. I use my turn signals, I do not tail gate, I do not honk or flash my headlights at people, I just drive fast.

@CH1CKENQUIFF as part of my job I am required to take defensive driving courses, and twice now I have heard from different officers that 'blockers' are the worst sort of drivers, other than drunks/DUI drivers. Reason being: 'blockers' turn aggressive drivers into road rage drivers through their self serving idiotic actions. And, just as I stated above, blocking the lane is an aggressive act, and a blocker is an aggressive driver. If you aren't blocking, CHICKEN, no problem.

IF stupid tailgaters get worse I pull over when practicable. Several drivers were all tailgating on highway and someone ahead had to pull off the road, then WE ALL slowed down because we were all stupid never to improve for the next time. Tailgaters are the biggest threat to your life and yet most are apathetic as they do it too. Today I signalled long to get in the fast lane, no one there, and the guy behind went over at the same time I did. Then he threatened my life AS IF I had cut him off
Most common day accidents are caused by overcautious people that doesn't always involve them directly. If you are getting passed by people in the right lane, you are in the wrong lane! If you are not comfrontable behind the wheel, maybe you should look into alternate methods of travel. The dangerous thing about driving is stopping, so one passive driver slams on breaks it can cause a wreak 4 cars behind them due to the chain reaction of over breaking by passive drivers.
Try to always take a video camera with you, or do what I do........bring a slingshot and a little baggie with your shit in it. Make sure the shit has corn and peanuts in it for extra revenge impact.
This video was shot in North Carolina. Yes. North Carolina drivers are pretty infamous for all the things seen here. They have this deluded belief that they own whatever ground it is they are on. They just keep driving, fail to use turn signals, get in front of you then slow down, etc. They also run stop lights/signs and are extremely discourteous towards pedestrians. Caliphonia dropped that code from the book in 1991 probably because too many people claimed they were passing while going 90mph, plus it was meant for at least a 3 laned road, not 2. It's a shame that the laws are so soft when it comes to driving on south florida roads and highways. It seems that anybody can just cut you off and it's considered acceptable and hardly anyone signals. I hope that a law requires drivers to at least signal when turning from a non designated turn lane while making a right. In Miami, very few drivers use courtesy which is part of the reason for road rage.
just received my learner permit about 2 weeks ago and the first time i took the car nto the high way I experienced road rage myself which i couldnt avoid. it was pouring down rain and a man was tailgating me bumper to bumper and eventually i reached a turn onto a 60 mph highway. the way the car behind me was positiond so close that i couldnt see what was coming so i wasn't able to make a safe turn and the driver behind me thought i was being an asshole so he got out of his car and screamed at me
well i put it like this im not an aggressive driver and i dont try to provoke people that are aggressive drivers but ive come to find out that the best way to deal with an aggressive driver especially if they confront you at a light or stop sign is to have a 44 locked,loaded and ready i guarantee they will think twice about getting any closer to you it works for me but i only recommend it for people that have a concealed weapons permit

They teach people in drivers education that the left lane is the passing lane. That you can also getting a ticket for disrupting the flow of traffic. So the safer bet is to simply do as you were taught in drivers ed and pull to the right lanes. For the slower drivers out there, left lanes shouldbe seen as a dotted white line that seperates the right and left lanes.
Today, there was two lanes that merge into one, 76 hwy, & a do not pass sign. I was the last of a pack and signalling left about to get behind the last driver, when this moron comes racing up to tailgate to make it impossible for me while trying to pass me. So I drove to the right side of the road & kept the signal on so I could get behind this ass. I was behind him for the next 15 minutes he's so damn stupid; nah a rude punk who only pretends to be concerned, ready to complain.

Left lane lurkers are infinitely more dangerous than speeders because they encourage reckless behaviour in close proximity to other vehicles. The left lane is for passing or turning only. If you're getting passed on the right, you're the problem.

@Rocketee No, in that instance drivers are both wrong. Most states at least specify slower traffic must move to the right, note that speed relative to posted limits is not a caveat there, and some take it further to say the left lane is for passing and turning only. If you are impeding the flow of traffic in the left lane, regardless of your speed, you are in violation of the law.

another reason for you to get over when being tailgated is because often there is not enough room for any one to pass on the right but there is enough room for you to get over. some of you will say that im only slowing you down for 5-10 minutes. when i am driving 800 miles getting slowed down even for 1 minute makes my trip take about a hour and a half longer than if no one slowed me down. if you can sit an the fast lane and mover over before ihave to slow down for you then i dont care

many people have said i go x fast in the fast lane and that is fast enough for anyone. 1. who are you to tell me how fast i can go? 2. if your on a interstate you shouldnt be driving in the fast lane. there are signs posted in every state i have travelled in that say " left lane passing only" or "stay in right lane except to pass" or" slower trafick keep right" . if i am riding your ass in the fast lane you become slower traffic. use your turn signals BEFORE you change lanes not while changing

The other day driving at the speed limit I had a jackass tailgating me then pass me at high speed on a city street not highway I could see this guy weaving in an out of traffic ahead tail gating every car that got in his way forcing them to move over .At the next set of lights I noticed this car had pulled into a Mcdonalds store with guess who getting out ,a cop in uniform.I turned in the next driveway,no emergency he was just ordering his lunch !

@Rocketee Speeding up encourages them, slamming on your brakes incourages them, what doesn't encourage them is to be a defensive driver and get out of their way, If you react they are encouraging YOU to be an aggressive driver and you in turn are encourageing them, and puts you and others in danger. I don't drink and drive, i don't drink much to begin with, never done drugs, not into anything really 'deviant' for that matter, I have one vice. I drive fast. I generally drive 5 mph over the limit. I would call myself a bit of an aggressive driver, that doesn't make me a BAD driver. I use my turn signals, I do not tail gate, I do not honk or flash my headlights at people, I just drive fast.

The advice in this video sounds sane and reasonable but ..... if everyone follows this advice then the agressive driver just gets to keep driving agressively the rest of his life to the detriment of us all. That doesn't seem reasonable to me. I think agressive drivers should be handled like bullies. You don't just let bullies go around bullying everyone; you stand up to them. Why is it many people automatically assume the reason someone is being tailgated is because he or she is driving slowly in the fast lane? That is not always the case. I drive five OVER the limit and stay in the SLOW LANE. People drive on my ass everyday. People are either impatient or uneducated.

@CH1CKENQUIFF as part of my job I am required to take defensive driving courses, and twice now I have heard from different officers that 'blockers' are the worst sort of drivers, other than drunks/DUI drivers. Reason being: 'blockers' turn aggressive drivers into road rage drivers through their self serving idiotic actions. And, just as I stated above, blocking the lane is an aggressive act, and a blocker is an aggressive driver. If you aren't blocking, CHICKEN, no problem.

Several drivers were all tailgating on highway and someone ahead had to pull off the road, then WE ALL slowed down because we were all stupid never to improve for the next time. Tailgaters are the biggest threat to your life and yet most are apathetic as they do it too. Today I signalled long to get in the fast lane, no one there, and the guy behind went over at the same time I did. Then he threatened my life AS IF I had cut him off

Most common day accidents are caused by overcautious people that doesn't always involve them directly. If you are getting passed by people in the right lane, you are in the wrong lane! If you are not comfrontable behind the wheel, maybe you should look into alternate methods of travel. The dangerous thing about driving is stopping, so one passive driver slams on breaks it can cause a wreak 4 cars behind them due to the chain reaction of over breaking by passive drivers.

This video was shot in North Carolina. Yes. North Carolina drivers are pretty infamous for all the things seen here. They have this deluded belief that they own whatever ground it is they are on. They just keep driving, fail to use turn signals, get in front of you then slow down, etc. They also run stop lights/signs and are extremely discourteous towards pedestrians. Then, these dysfunctional, mentally unstable, shits come up with all sorts of ridiculous excuses claiming they didn't see.

You actually called it the "passing lane". Caliphonia dropped that code from the book in 1991 probably because too many people claimed they were passing while going 90mph, plus it was meant for at least a 3 laned road, not 2. They call it that because any amount of passing ought to be acceptable but now that's not the case. Now it's the go faster and faster lane per stupidity. The gov't loves it because it makes more money off of tickets, ie. they don't really go after tailgaters as number one

This is good advice on how to deal with road rage people but I'd say with angry people in general. Violent people are sometimes armed and cowardly they usually have "friends" that could check up on you or even if you have a sister they may go through her to get to you. Innocence means nothing to them. "4th amendment rights" for racist phonies like Prof Gates are grounds for finding and "dealing" with that woman who called 911 even. I don't want to say but my channel features one of them

yes! i think that is the correct interpretation if the laws here in VA....i had a guy follow me once, i slammed on the brakes, jumped out of the car (in the middle of the road) and he sped away....some ppl just want to look like they are gonna do something

It's a shame that the laws are so soft when it comes to driving on south florida roads and highways. It seems that anybody can just cut you off and it's considered acceptable and hardly anyone signals. I hope that a law requires drivers to at least signal when turning from a non designated turn lane while making a right. In Miami, very few drivers use courtesy which is part of the reason for road rage.

just received my learner permit about 2 weeks ago and the first time i took the car nto the high way I experienced road rage myself which i couldnt avoid. it was pouring down rain and a man was tailgating me bumper to bumper and eventually i reached a turn onto a 60 mph highway. the way the car behind me was positiond so close that i couldnt see what was coming so i wasn't able to make a safe turn and the driver behind me thought i was being an asshole so he got out of his car and screamed at me

well i put it like this im not an aggressive driver and i dont try to provoke people that are aggressive drivers but ive come to find out that the best way to deal with an aggressive driver especially if they confront you at a light or stop sign is to have a 44 locked,loaded and ready i guarantee they will think twice about getting any closer to you it works for me but i only recommend it for people that have a concealed weapons permit

ive done this before and it has worked: when someone is tailgating you very closely, they expect you to speed up and will get mad if you slow down. in both cases they expect forward and backwards motion. what i do is start swerving side to side unpredictably, like im drunk (ps dont do this if you are drunk). its awesome because they back off due to your unpredictable behavior.

Much better reaction than the other guy who said he likes slowing down with a tailgater. However, the guy behind may call the cops, thinking he found a drunk driver or a druggie at the wheel.

They teach people in drivers education that the left lane is the passing lane. That you can also getting a ticket for disrupting the flow of traffic. So the safer bet is to simply do as you were taught in drivers ed and pull to the right lanes. For the slower drivers out there, left lanes shouldbe seen as a dotted white line that seperates the right and left lanes.

Today, there was two lanes that merge into one, 76 hwy, & a do not pass sign. I was the last of a pack and signalling left about to get behind the last driver, when this moron comes racing up to tailgate to make it impossible for me while trying to pass me. So I drove to the right side of the road & kept the signal on so I could get behind this ass. I was behind him for the next 15 minutes he's so damn stupid; nah a rude punk who only pretends to be concerned, ready to complain.

high,, my opinion on just the one situation,, (ur stuck in the overtaking lane, wid no way out,, yes, u can use the brakes, however,, theres a few ways that ends, 1, it myte just be a little bang,,. 2 one of you is gunna lose control, or, 3 both of you is goin to lose control, sometimes, it's best if you accelerate, even if you must break the speed limit until you can move off the lane, otherwise stay at your speed and hope he doesn't just hit you anyway = the 3 possible results up above

my favorite thing to do when someones ridin my ass I slow down to the speed limit then when im about to turn, it doesnt matter where, I come to a complete stop and then turn. It really pisses them the fuck off.

ye but some stupid fuck's just don't get that and trying to go on the left lane and when the faster car comes they just ignoring them like they doing a good thing just then when they get passed trying to not to let you pass by increasing speed sometimes i want to push these drivers of the road
