@Underleaf76 'Unbalanced' has no place in D&D.Its most likely that the group you game with (or if you're the GM) lack the knowledge to actually do anything without having a chart or a rule to go by. Older versions had all the rules you needed, unfortunately idiots who cannot open a door without instructions needed that clarified and wala, you have 4ed rules. Role to open book, you will be allowed to read the first page on a 10 or better. Oh wait, i didnt clarify what dice to roll. Wait for 5ed.
