Will there ever be any step by step youtube examples that allow for beginners to learn? Because so far the online resources that give a user friendly introduction to Marc and Mentat with tutorials and examples are very very few. This i would think would deter many to actually purchase it for personal use. Solidworks on the other hand has tons of youtube examples that give you an insight.

I have a question about ur great educational movie. You imported the stud into patran. My question is whre did u originally create the model? In AutoCAD? or inventor? Thanks.

@bucuresticarmen, I am not sure of the origin of the parasolid model that we imported in this exercise. Since it was a generic parasolid file and not a CAD specific format, we could have created it in a variety of CAD tools, such as CATIA, Pro/Engineer, Unigraphics, SolidWorks, AutoCAD or others. Many of these formats are supported for direct import, but you can also generate a parasolid file from your CAD package and then import that geometry, which is what was shown here.
