I think the bus drivers are a bunch of bastards. They started this strike at the worst possible time to hurt as many people as possible.

We all have jobs in the world. Kids are suppose to be Kids. Waiters or Waitress are suppose to serve people. OC Transpo Drivers are supposed to drive people to there destination. If The Drivers and Mechanics don't want to do their jobs then other people shouldn't give those lazy bastards service either. It's only fair. Right??

The unions of old were interested in worker safety and in workers being treated fairly. I'm ashamed to see that this particular union has been transformed in to a group of organized extortionists, all organized by a corrupt group of senior drivers. They want to keep rights to scheduling because if they don't it'll ruin the little scheduling scam that they've put so much work in to setting up.

OC Transpo should not have the right to strike. They should be declared "essential workers". This latest strike was timed to produce the most chaos possible. Think about it. It is in the winter, so many cyclists are now relying on the bus; it is just before christmas, so the merchants will feel the most pain with their shelves stocked with inventory that they cannot sell. Let this be the last time that they pull this kind of dirty stunt. They must be declared essential workers.
