purple haze as far as i know it is when people are in the midst of being "stoned"

like red mist, or when people "see red" - this is the same idea only with drugs - a purple haze like a purple colour blanketing your eyes and your trying to see through the haze but everythings blurred and out of focus, you cant think straight, which is fine...if its only for one trip...

to be trapped in a purple haze...would be to be stoned...everyday, all day, over and over...
