i already have this product. but i need to upgrade the memory so i can have more apps. everything is saving to the device storage and i only have about 7mb of tht left. if anyone knows how to save apps and song to the internal or external sd card. please tell me or video respond!!!

I got this for Christmas from Borders. I was excited but quickly deflated. Not all "free" books would download. My music was cool. VIDEO PLAYBACK is a JOKE. i uploaded a 10second vid from my camera. It errored. The downloaded book that I purchased after 4 wks couldn't be recalled. It would try to upload then say, "our site is working on this problem." It's impressive but don't believe the hype. Mine died, couldn't be reset, couldn't be recharged. Took it back to borders and got a refund

I have yet to be able to read a book. What program did you download and where did you get it? I have a FBreader downloaded. I went to Borders and downloaded a free book in in pdf format, transferred it from my external SD card to the internal SD card into the file Books. No books show up in my library. For a product sold as a reader, why isn't it ready to go? Anyone able to help

Good vid! I wanted a pandigital novel. the novels were on sell for $129 @ best buy. Got a rain check because no one had them in stock. Found the micro cruz on sell for $99 5 days later @ best buy. Your vid convinced me that this ereader is better than the novel an $30 cheaper. Got a silicone case and protection plan with five dollars left over!!! Thanks alot :')

Borders have one of this device in excibition and when i used the device runs very,very,very ,very ,very,very,very slow when i try to make something and i ask if we have to do some's ajustments before using??

I ordered one from borders while they were offering the 15% off sale and I plan to do the updates as soon as I get it so hopefully from what I have read that is really suppose to help a lot.

Also did you calibrate your screen before the video??

I somehow deleted the post where I asked if you had done the android update.

@CountryCarolyn Yes, I calibrated the screen. I thought the touchscreen of the Cruz was pretty responsive - certainly better than some others I've tried. All touchscreens seem to hiccup sometimes, even the iPad. In my experience this is usually amplified when making a video - perhaps because I'm not holding the device normally because of the camera.

There is also a AndAppStore loaded on there with a bunch of apps. It has every app i wanted on it myspace facebook youtube twitter by droid mail by droid recipes by droid. and so much more. Also the app preloaded dose not work you have to get the link off there web site and upload it to your desk top the transfer it. I LOVE MY CRUZ READER I JUST POSTED 2 VIDEOS TODAY!

Can you install non app store apps, like on regular Android OS. Do you have a file manager app?

@crazym409 No access to Android Market, there are some custom apps from Velocity Micro and AndAppStore, have not tried to install anything else yet. There is a file manager.

Here's what I'm getting at. I can buy a Sony, an iPad, or a Kobo reader and download books from my public library for free. My community has a great ebranch for the library and I can get almost anything I might look for at Borders but get it for free. This is a major problem for a lot of ereader products going forward. Will this product read DRM EPUB books from the public library.

@dsterritt Public library books: Sony yes, B&N Nook yes, Kobo yes; iPad and Android devices - not yet. Overdrive, which distributes the digital content to most of the libraries is working on compatibility with iOS and Android but no idea when that will be ready. I just asked Overdrive about this again last week and they told me they still plan on making it happen, but no idea when it will be ready.

@5staro Then you want to be sure you're using ADE (Not all library systems use Overdrive). Books from the Library can be downloaded to your computer and then copied over to your reader.

@dsterritt The Cruz connects to the Borders ebook store, which is essentially Kobo.

@illydinxaxen Out of the box Youtube didin't work, but at the VM support site there is a new Youtube app. After I installed that it worked fine. There is a link to the support site in the review on my blog.
