I have nothing against ear cleaning but I would object to seeing it done within a public food venue, because it's inappropriate, ill-mannered, and somewhat disgusting to know some person is having their ears cleaned near me whilst I'm trying to enjoy a meal. This might be "normal" and traditional in China, but I cannot see it being acceptable public behaviour in most western countries. Personal hygiene practices ought to be done in private or suitable premises, not in places where people eat!
@doobiesmoke15 I don't know where you live in America (I myself live in Canada); but, I saw this in San Francisco's Chinatown. If I recall correctly it was Grant St. at a salon. They had the sign in Chinese but underneath they had "ear picking." Additionally, you can buy all the tools at most Asian-oriented goods stores.
suk et,theres nothing wrong with ear picking,oh and do tell, what kind of diseases are cause by ear wax? im curious, not only of a possible outbreak by the allmighty and feared ear,but also,if you are knowledgeable enuff to explain it to lil ole me. ty have a nice day and go fuck ur mutha, assclown cunt!
Stupid cultures and culture acceptance nonsense. No wonder these countries have such high disease and sickness rates in the World today. They do such unsanitary things in public...without gloves and at dinner TABLES none the less!!!! There should be an international health board that interfers in countries like this because they help spread majority of diseases alive today and bring their crap to our countries when they move or visit.
@mafang80 No way. I most certaintly do NOT show any respect to this kind of 'culture'. This isn't culture. This is filth and bad society. You don't CLEAN YOUR FREAKIN ears at the dinner table or hire someone to do it for you. Thats nasty. Culture is deserving of respect when its real. Like diversity in dance, ceremonies, different types of foreign sports we can learn, different mode of dressing or designs in hair or jewelry, etc etc. Cleaning ears at table is dirty, not excusable culture.
@LoveMokes Culture mostly simply defined is a way of life for a group of people. Acts, such dance or sport, are performances of a culture, while language is its vehicle. This is a way of life for some people and popular in regions, such as China, India and Vietnam. The chances that this is responsible for wide-spread disease is probably quite small; however, I agree that these regions of the world are responisble for a number of health problems, and they seem to often avoid culpability.
If you don't like my opinion or agree with it..instead of being a bossy ass just ignore it or delete it. Don't try bull shitting me with your talk of culture. I'm well traveled and educated. I detest things like this that go on. Its places like this that never modernize that cause germs to spread and diseases to be born. Its people like you who accept this nonsense and support it that cause it to go on unchecked. Its bitches like me who care to bring medical points to light and change the world
@LoveMokes You know, Troll, for outwardly condemning "thing like this", you certainly have a lot of ear cleaning vids in your favs. Also, if you think you can "change the world" by having a bitch-fit on youtube, you're clearly an idiot. Just wondering, have you ever had a manicure or a pedicure in a high-class salon? What's the difference between the gunk in your ears and the gunk beneath your nails? Yet I'm sure you don't look down on manicures. I'm sure you see them as refined! Hypocrite.
@LoveMokes Also, for someone who's so (self-proclaimed) "well traveled and educated", you sure do have a lot of grammatical errors in your posts. Who are you trying to convince?
