It would probably have to be repaired ALL the time. $1 million may not even be enough money considering the costs that could total over 10years. City workers MAY even ask for higher salaries, you never know. Someone could try to sue the city of they were ran into by a skateboarder... A lot of things could happen if it were "legalized" And not trying to be a dick but it's kinda crazy that everyone feels like they are entitled to skate there. It's not like the city banned skating in a skatepark..

Love Park is definitely the most famous street skating spot on the east coast and it has been on lock down for years. If all of the sudden it was open to skateboarding again it would be chaos. Packed with TONS of skaters everyday, boards shooting out everywhere, people would no doubt be getting ran in to. Completely thrashed everyday, and with that high amount of skating...
