I use Ableton Live 7 for live playback but the actual pre-made backing tracks are made with cubase and logic pro.

You got it right! Tele indeed, covererd with a 'silver' layer. It contains the fernandez sustainer and custom killswitch as well. I'm still thinking about an on-board FuzzFactory... the stompbox version at my pedalboard is begging me to be built in ;-)

It is indeed as you said. We created a synth backing track and we do have to play in perfect time, but hey.. fortunately there's something called a clicktrack :-) which our drummer hears on his in-ear monitoring. So we all depend on Bob, or 'Bozzle' if you like, for the timing...
