@Gapperbone Yes I am from the west country, I am an artist and therefore outside of the scientific community so any help promoting this theory will be gratefully welcomed. Please share with your friends and add to your favorites. It would be nice to start a chain reaction of information a kind of quantum revolution!
@Gapperbone Bell’s experiment is evidence that quantum entanglement or nonlocality, Einstein’s “spooky action at a distance” is real. It says that we cannot have a hidden variable to explain this we will always have a superposition of possibilities. This theory “Quantum Atom Theory” says that these possibilities are the same possibilities we have with any future event, the future is always in a superposition!
@jayejayeee Thanks a lot! I am an artist and therefore outside of the scientific community so any help promoting this theory will be gratefully welcomed. Please share with your friends and add to your favorites. It would be nice to start a chain reaction of information a kind of quantum revolution!
@dredful00 Good for you!!! I am an artist and therefore outside of the scientific community so any help promoting this theory will be gratefully welcomed. Please share with your friends and add to your favorites. It would be nice to start a chain reaction of information a kind of quantum revolution!
@nickharvey7 Its exactly like I said: Entanglement is a property of quantum states only. The definition of entanglement is when a quantum state cannot be written as a tensor product of states describing its constituent subsystems. That translates into a statement about the probabilities for different observables. Classical systems cant do any of that because they dont have probabilities.
The title of the video implies a physics explanation. Commenters clearly have that impression...but its not
@cloffff All classical systems change over time this process forms potential future “probabilities” of how that change might take place in three dimensional space. By explaining Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle ∆×∆p×≥h/4π that is formed by the wave particle function as the same uncertainty as we have with any future event we have a physics explanation!
If youre going to promote a pet theory, fine, but you should try to not confuse people between this and real physics. This topic is already confusing enough.
To address one thing you've said: Entanglement is not a property of any classical wave, or any classical system at all. It is exclusively a property of quantum states.
@cloffff I am promoting this as an artist theory so there is no confusion. But classical physics is an approximation of quantum physics, so everything is a quantum state is it not?
I disagree entanglement is a property of any kind of waves. If you look at ripples on the surface of water you will see that the ripples are entangled. They have the same up or down movement simultaneously as they expand out from the centre of the ripple.
@awakeFemale Entanglement is a property of any kind of waves. If you look at ripples on the surface of water you will see that the ripples are entangled. They have the same up or down movement simultaneously as they expand out from the centre of the ripple.
@Chase14videos The polarization or spin of a photon will be the same for the whole surface of the light sphere having opposite spin simultaneously on both sides of the sphere in three dimensional space.
This only happens if the light photons are created together within their own reference frame and then radiate apart.
Nonlocality is only possible because we have a process of continuous creation where each new photon oscillation is a new moment of that creation.
It is possible to achieve less than absolute zero with relativity though. Like if you had an endothermic atomic reaction from a point close to absolute zero. Took all it's electrons away, made a huge copper plate to uranium on the other side. It could even flip back and forth harmlessly less than absolute zero. It's a fay postulation that its "impossible".
An actual STARGATE/PORTAL-THING was captured on film. The footage can be found within the short-film entitled "SUDDEN PORTHOLE", which is currently parked at the PROJECT CAMELOT YouTube page (it's under the George Noory video).
I'm not selling anything...I'm just trying to spread the word about the unseen-dimensions we find ourselves embedded in.
My BLOG contains the peripheral data regarding the movie and is where I reply to the "debunkers" (use search words "Sam Zurick" & "BLOG"). THANKS!!
"Because it is impossible [for an atom] to reach absolute zero..."? Yeah because absolute zero manifests as non-manifest. It doesn't mean it doesn't exist. When are people going to realize that zero is NOT JUST nothing. It is simultaneously everything-nothing.
Yes in this theory everything has a common origin, but this process is happening now. We have continuous creation so in many ways the origin is now. We have the ‘moment of now’ represented by the number 1 with the positive numbers marching off into an infinite future and the negative numbers representing an infinite past.
@nickharvey7 - consciousness is the uncertainty aspect. there are plenty of operants including online who are able to know exactly what will happen in the future - that is not because it is pre-ordained, it is because they are present in time/s 'further along' than the now moment.
so their consciousness personally have anchored into some specific futures, and their consciousness in contact with others therefore steer those others towards the same futures their limited minds have scanned and seen
Accommodate Heisenberg with a probablistic deterministic outcome, yet still allow conscious freewill for the wave function outcome. There is harmonic design in the neural outcome. Since fractality figures, we must incorporate phi; since harmonic consonance is universal, these must be combined. How? When both accord simultaneously in linear time, the wave function collapses i.e. the node of the universal neural network is realized and a new path is taken.
@kepler5813 In this theory linear time is formed by the absorption and emission of light or EMR. Each object will form their own spacetime (the rate that time flow within that reference frame) relative to their energy or mass. Each object or observer will have their own r-frame and will be able to observer the beauty of harmonics within another r- frame simultaneously. Waves by their nature have to move so this fits in with the process of continuous change (harmonic movement) in this theory!
@nickharvey7 Thanks for your reply. I am deeply interested in the harmony of planetary movement as it relates to the 12-note diatonic scale. I am a student of Kepler in this respect. Am I and are we saying something new, here? Namely to bring fractality and harmony together within string theory? If I read Kepler and look at mass consciousness, such as in financial markets, I can see harmony very precisely and fractality both related to the five regular solids, but beyond their limitations.
@kepler5813 Have a look a Harmonic Theory based on the wave nature of matter. There are many videos on YouTube on Harmonic Theory; my videos are more about the concept of time formed by the movement of the waves.
@nickharvey7 I have hit a snag, maybe you can help? In measuring the EMR pulses, the sine wave durations between nodes are consistent but not identical. That means the wave fronts are not equidistant. The ratio seems very close to 5-5-3-5, 5-5-3-5 etc. Should there be any sub-pattern like this in your opinion? I am using true momentum to measure the pulses.
@kepler5813 To be honest I don’t know, in this theory Our Universe is infinite and therefore no theory could explain everything. Each new explanation will create new unanswered questions a physical reason for Godel’s incompleteness theorem in human mathematics.
@nickharvey7 - some are more linked cause, eg, they were birthed earlier on in the universe as matter or some such, and then maybe branched off.
so with the natural stargate example, the ones naturally linked together would be determined by what stars or objects birthed what other objects, like spokes linking them back to the same origins but by different paths. also how acupuncture nodes develop and branch off to different meridians in fetus to birthed body, child to adult.
@kepler5813 as far as i knw phi is also called as golden ratio which denotes the harmonic consonance itself. maybe as soon as the particle is set in motion phi has to be applied for fixing the min criteria it wil hit. too much free wil might bring chaos. im no expert in this. just an opinion. :)
@emwaver If the laws of physics are universal then electrical activity causing chemical changes within the brain (consciousness) must be based on quantum physics. I do not like new age stuff this all based on the wave-function explained by Schrödinger’s wave equation represents the forward passage of time ∆E ∆t ≥ h/2π itself photon by photon. Therefore Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle ∆×∆p×≥h/4π that is formed by the w-function is the same uncertainty we have with any future event.
@emwaver - of course it does - when you open the box in the thought-experiment, what determines the outcome is your observation of it.
as to what the outcome is, and how able you are (in that case it involves the consciousness of the cat also) to make it be alive or dead or both or neither, depends on the interaction of all involved parties souls, wants, desires, knowledge, and so on).
that is not saying that the outcome has not occured unless you view it, decision not to view = consciousness
What is free-will? Do we have free-will? What if I asked you to quickly think of only one person? Who did you think of and why? Did you have free-will in your choice?
@bigboy45454545 This theory explains consciousness as the most advanced part of a universal process. A complete theory where the atoms of an eye or hand or even the atoms of an innate object like a house brick will collapse the w-function. When we think of something new we create new electrical activity, new electromagnetic fields, new oscillations or photons changing the future of our Universe in a small way!
@nickharvey7 I'm aware of a collapsing wave function. I'm aware of the nature of photons or even electrons on the quantum level being both a particle and a wave until being observed. But I don't think this fully explains free will. Tell me are you a Scientist of Physics or a Philosopher? I ask because without models or evidence for what you're saying this is really just Philosophy, is it not? I'm a layman and I could be wrong. The truth is thought is still a mystery. Keep working on it.
@nickharvey7 This absolutely IS new age, QM stabilizes at the size of a nueron, indeterminacy is completely irrelevant to free will. It is similar to saying that computers have free will because the electrons are indeterminate.
@bryanpicchiottino I have based this on the physics of the quantum wave particle function explained by Schrödinger’s wave equation and Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle ∆×∆p×≥h/4π. But it is similar to saying that we have computers and the wonders of modern electronics because the electrons are indeterminate. Electrical activity (indeterminate electrons) within the brain forms consciousness, think about it!
@nickharvey7 You understand that a computer's functions are deterministic right (obviously)? The electrons stabilize at the macroscopic level of the circuit which allows for deterministic algorithms despite using indeterminate electrons. (1 of the reasons we can't keep making circuits smaller). Analogously, QM stabalizes at the size of our neural network. Even if we did have free will (we don't... demonstrably), indeterminacy of quantum physics would have nothing to do with it. You're wrong.
@bryanpicchiottino But the quantum wave particle function is everywhere collapsing and reforming so Heisenberg’s Uncertainty must also be everywhere. In this theory this is the reason why we always have uncertainty if our computers are going to work or not! Have fun!
@bryanpicchiottino You might also be retarded, but we can’t be certain because we have Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle ∆×∆p×≥h/4π that represents the uncertainty of everyday life. The future is always uncertainty because we have a universal process of continuous change that we see and feel as the flow of time ∆E ∆t ≥ h/2π itself.
@nickharvey7 i understand the uncertainty principle and accept that the universe, in principle, is almost certainly (no pun intended) probabilistic. What im saying is that determinism vs free will is a false dichotomy. probabilistic behavior of particles does not give way to free will. Like an algorithm on a computer, our neural network does not arbitrarily do shit. Why does this happen in a probabilistic universe? the same reason tennis balls don't go through walls: QM stabilizes @ macro level
@bryanpicchiottino The brain is not a solid state computer running simple linear programs by shuffling the 0s and 1s - nor is the brain simply receiving local inputs and dependent upon local processing nor is it restricted to producing time sequential output - indeterminacy is not irrelevant to free will - check out Dean Radin - and Bell's Inequality - join us in the 21st Century.
@TaylerKnox well. alright. you time and time again show a clear misunderstanding of physics and.. well logic at all. so i'll leave you be... happy as can be... with your postmodern intentional obfuscation.

What was meant by "free will" in this? I am strongly opposed to any notion of "libertarian" but am completely for compatibalism and deterministic freewill. I'd be interested to hear QM's impact on Freewill.
@SHIBBYiPANDA Free-will to choose when and where to collapse the wave function by choosing when and where we come in contact with it. Modern science has no understanding of why we have free-will a future and a past or even what the moment of now is.
@nickharvey7 Isn't our choice to collapse the wave function also another wave function? I'm all for indentifying our "free will" as simply a function of the universe but I think special care needs to be taken so that we do not associate our will as something "originating" from something different than the world around us.
@SHIBBYiPANDA Yes it’s a continuum each photon is a new oscillation in the continuum of creation (continuous change). This is a complete theory consciousness (electrical activity within the brain) is the most advanced part of a universal process of continuous change or creation!
@codyyates13 if you are talking about nazi zombies i think with this one tryarch just wonted to use a big word that sounded cool but not realy noing what it meens
The teachings of quantum physics confirms that to attain peace, love, compassion and all the best qualities of human species, We need to truly share the earth , cooperate for our collective well being and do away with this politically corrupt and manipulated market mechanism where humanity are batteries charging the insatiable drive of a minority for ever more power and control.
@rschiwal There is no way to prove any theory 100% fact, but I do agree with you that the idea of entanglement is extremely difficult to explore using experimental means. With that said, if any individual is confident enough in their abilities to test the merit of entanglement, I refuse to cut them down for it. Just because you and I find the testing this concept a daunting task, doesn't mean a mind that approaches problems from a different angle feels the same.
@perkiset I just feel that the deeper down the rabbit hole we go, the more we are relying on circular logic and assumptions that show far less evidence that an episode of "Ghost Hunters." I stand by my statement that this is a hypothesis because it is at best an educated guess.
P.S. I love posting blogs with people who's IQ is NOT smaller than their shoe size.
@rschiwal Quantum Physic's biggest problem is its sensationalist properties. People are willing to accept what has yet to be proven or strongly backed through scientific method before anyone has put strong evidence on the table. Adversely, many of the fathers of modern science greatly shifted the world views accepted at their time and were ridiculed. Society's deep seeded believes and assumptions were challenged first by an idea, then by evidence and argument. I refuse to ridicule this idea.
@rschiwal The concept of Quantum Entanglement has been displayed in many, many experiments and this constitutes the current sum of proofs, with others having to do with applied science where the theory of Quantum Mechanics has been used with an extremely high rate of success. Additionally, no one has, yet, developed a better explanation of the physics involved.
Sir, you state 'It is because life can choose when and where to collapse the wave function breaking the symmetry that we have freewill.' Can you explain how you go about choosing when and where to collapse different waveforms and the effect that this has - ie. what effect does delaying or advancing a waveform collapse have and how do you do this?
I wish the video would give you time to read and coprehend the data presented. My brain doesnt work that fast with new material. This video should be extended to at LEAST 5 minutes, 10 would be MUCH better. You can then SLOW DOWN and present the data with the graphs in a way that could be EASILY understood by ALL who watch it. Right now its just to fast and gibberish.....
@hangdfswe - can you not just pause the video? i know these things crash all over the place etc, so i presume there's some reason you can't just pause it.
Must inquire about the visually impaired, what then does that say about their free will? Not even an amateur at this kind of stuff, just curious if there's an explanation of how this would work without two eyes to see.
@Copyrightislamo The waves of light collapse when they physically come into contact with an object or individual. Therefore the individual will collapse the wave function even if they are totally blind. They will have free will to move around collapsing the w-function when and where they like over a period of time!
@Jdonovanford The evolutionary advantage in seeing time as linear is that we can see a time line and plan for the future giving our own children an advantage! There was no evolutionary advantage in seeing time as having the geometry of spacetime therefore we do not see it this way.
@Jdonovanford Yes there is a benefit to the individual in seeing time as nonlinear as in meditation. But the reason why we see time as linear is because there was an evolutionary advantage.
this seems to be a circular argument. You're evidence for the fact that seeing time linearly has an evolutionary advantage is that it exists so therefore it must have an advantage to have evolved.
@boys0fsummer1 No! The evolutionary advantage in seeing time as linear is that we can see a time line and plan for the future giving our own children an advantage! There was no evolutionary advantage in seeing time as having the geometry of spacetime therefore we do not see it this way. Even though time does have three dimensional geometry forming Einstein’s curvature of spacetime in this theory.
@boys0fsummer1 Time is a variable the greater the energy or mass of an object the slower time runs around that object forming the curvature of spacetime. This is a universal and continuous process of change or creation when an object moves the curvature of spacetime also moves forming the objects own time line (linear) in that direction.
Respond to this video... My question also deals with the problem of quantum physics. If we see what happens of several possible things, how come everyone sees the same then?
@Jdonovanford In this theory we only have three dimensions and one variable of time. We never see the different possibilities and when the wave function collapses it’s the same for all observers because we are all in the same three dimensional Universe. Have fun it’s an infinity!!!
@nickharvey7 Yeah... I never understood that of "collapsin the wave function". If you had some little time, I would love to hear about it :) About that it means. Thanks a lot.
Light and rotation is forming an agreed upon world for all, however, then observed individually by scanning information. Space is an illusion in family with light. As life gave up and descended it all seems solid and real today. What seems to be the most magic stuff is connected to our souls.
@elektron2kim I do not have the knowledge to disagree with you, but what would be nice would be to be able to explain all this using physics and science. It would be like looking into the mind of God such knowledge would form a link between science and religion. Thanks for the comment!
@nickharvey7 Sure, just a viewpoint on some of my understanding - further theres a similarity in my comment to online video games where they use formulas of physics where each person contain all data of a world (at each computer) and what is common world is just calculated information on each the viewers screen about others movement, position, whatever. Where some things are out of view, you discard it for that observer. On the server playground you keep track of everything as information data.
This is a breakthrough, when observer was taken into consideration by scientists. Here is another theory: There is a constant source of energy, quality and quantity of which is not changing, outside of an observer.
Observer percepts that source. That source affects the observer. Observer thinks that the whole reality is changing, but it was just his-own change Sooner or later the observer will realize the source's quality, because his quality will be affected and equaled by the source
@strokine Entanglement is a property of waves, ripples on a pond will expand out from their center source forming symmetry. The ripples will be entangled as they spread out over a period of time. Light wave can do the same if they are particles (photons) only when energy is exchanged when they come in contact with atoms.
Foe me this is way too condensed to be helpful but the ideas are startling and fascinating. I think though (amongst other things!) you need to unpick the notion of the observer "choosing" to collapse the wave function. Choice without influencing factors? Or what?
@martifingers I am trying to promote this theory and the more condensed the video is the more people look at it! Collapse is a word used in QM it just means come in contact with the wave function. This is happening all the time, the wave-particle duality of light is collapsing and reforming. In this theory this forms the forward passage of time itself.
When it can be proven you will see that all forms of electromagnetic radiation would be entangled not just photons. The photons are just the easiest to see with the two slit experiments.
@YoLninYo There is nothing New Age in this it is a description of a physical natural process that forms the mathematics of the Copenhagen interpretation.
@nickharvey7 sorry, there is no such thing as "arrow of time". According to my own theory, time is a biological construct. Living organisms need to keep track of time because life is essentially information processing. Pls read Prof. Julian Barber's theory on this. Also, even Einstein called this spooky action at a distance because he was a weasel and didn't want to admit his "C is the limit" thing was full of crap. Information travels FTL, entanglement shows it but people refuse to face up 2 it
not being ultra critical, but perhaps quantum entanglement might require 4 minutes if its an attempt at a lesson! that aside.. the applications would be amazing.. instantaneous communications! no matter the distance.. give nasa a call!! we could super-ultra-micromanage our sattelite navigation. computational speed wouldnt be altered, the visual area of missions would have a great advantage. now, intra-solar communications? whats your 2 bits over that? any theories there?
@carpetmonk It is only instantaneous for the photon itself representing a symmetry that forms the geometry of spacetime. All objects form their own spacetime geometry (relativity) therefore we are all at the centre of our own reference frame so there is no instantaneous communications.
Interesting. It makes sense that time could be an order of things that becomes visible to us. Though I think time might be a little more complex then that.
@nazra7 I think you might be right and it might be a little more complex than that. But if the overall simple idea is correct that the flow of time itself forms Schrodinger wave function and that Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle is the same uncertainty that we have with any future event, then complexity can be added later.
what is the main point of your theory that makes it different from the known quantum theory? what is the new idea added to what we know today?
i can see you define time as absorption and emission of electromagnetic waves by atoms or things creating their own reality and freedom of choice, which is a noble idea but it does not crack the more complex questions of modern physics.
@osamaisathawadi The new idea is an understanding of time that forms the geometry of spacetime. This is not a noble idea but a physical process that can explain some of the most complex questions of modern physics. The answers come together like a great jigsaw puzzle once this continuous process is understood!
This explanation insofar as it concerns an observer is concerned seems to be recursive and therefore illogical because in it evolution is both a cause and effect of time. I suppose being illogical doesn't make it wrong, but it I think it means we can never know that it's true.
@genuflectify Yes! But it only looks illogical to us because we are part of the process. In this theory there is a process of symmetry forming and breaking that predates the evolution of life giving it a geometrical therefore mathematical base. This symmetry forms the geometry of spacetime and the continuum of time itself.
An idea I would like to also point out is time is an effective component not affective. In other words entanglement shows that any human observer is bound to effects, and has to infer the source. In other words that time is never its own entity and that motion of anything can follow different rules or have different causes that is beyond what we can observe. Our conscious development could play a role, but i am of the stance it is minor at best. It's good practice to have what i do know tested
@ninthguardian9 A blind man will have the same effect on the light has a man that can see. It is the physical action that form a photon if you put your hand in front of light beams you will form new photons. These new photons never existed before they came in contact with your hand. In this theory you are creating your own future spacetime geometry because each new photon particle will have a position in space and time.
Never drop wave particle duality like that. Also I do not want to sound like I am saying human thought has no effect. I look at the evidence too. But you cannot speculate at any given point. Time, as you are referring to it, depends on propagation that are not shown to be true by any means other then neglected calculation. Suggesting perhaps a universal simultaneous ( instant) event is interesting, but time and wave fn collapse is simply where an aspect of existence changes. Have a good one =)
Consider this analogy. Two boats are on the surface of the ocean. They make waves. The speed and type of waves they make vary for a multitude of reasons. Theories exist to explain how they can cast lines to eachother and quickly draw them away to created attractive and repulsive forces. None the less.... there is much to the ocean that allows this all to take place. That complexity is what we deal with and the un-scale-able ( unobservable) "variables" makes no math "complete".
@ninthguardian9 Neat analogy! In this theory no math can be complete and we have Gödel’s incompleteness theorem because we have a process of continuous creation. All objects radiate and absorb light or EMR, in this theory this process represents the forward passage of time for each object. The future is formed photon by photon and because we can choose when and where to interact with the EMR we have free-will.
@nickharvey7 to my knowledge, only electrons absorb and emit photons. I am still looking for a better description of what is known of this. Common in science for research observations to be overlooked. Note light turns into vibrational, rotational and translational energy prior to being remitted. Which is why it is always lower in frequency. It can also eject electrons. I fear the more I talk on the matter the sooner you will be driven to tune me out =(. I am an expert on trying to find truth.
@ninthguardian9 Thanks for the comment it an interesting one! In this theory it is this process of the absorption and emission of light that form the passage of time. Light is a wave until it comes in contact with an electron on the surface of an atom then it form a photon that will have a new position in space and time as part of the arrow of time.
yeah what crayzer said. This is bunk. You brought up Einstein, but totally misused just about every concept you got a hold of. Actually it is insulting to Einstein's memory that you super imposed quantum mechanics with some vague association to space time. Light distribution does not have symmetry for the reason you described.. look up the word approximation then think on that. There is a reason wave particle duelality exists as the quantifiable number of properties do not.
@ninthguardian9 Einstein’s equation says that energy equals mass multiplied by the speed of light squared. This equation links energy and mass with the movement of light. Light will radiate out in every direction therefore you multiply it by the square of the radius. In the equations of quantum mechanics almost everything is squared because this is a universal process forming the geometry of spacetime and the arrow of time.
@nickharvey7 You are hitting a good point, but light is controlable in other words a single photon does not radiate in all directions. This is in part why Einstein hated peoples trust in quantum mechanics. For example. I can tell you P=mv However at near light speeds you have to have a relativistic constant Y so P=Ymv. Energy to mass conversion depends on light always moving at light speed and having no mass of its own and the unknown rules of motion lets the formula work.
@ninthguardian9 Yes the symmetry is soon broken, but if we look at nature we can see there has to be a process of continuous symmetry forming and breaking. We can create our own forms of light if you turn on an electric light a photon will be formed, but if you don’t turn the light on that photon will never have a place in space and time as part of the time continuum (free-will).
Erm.. the observer in for example the double slit experiment does not need to be conscious...it can be a machine... or anything... the observer in this case does not collapse the field from 'will' free or otherwise... the field is collapsed from regular old natural causes.... I have to assume you were joking at the end there... in which case, touche!
@MumblingMickey Yes you are right! In the double slit experiment the observer turns on a detector and this physically collapses the wave-function. But it is the conscious idea that leads to the physical action and we have free-will in the sense that we can turn the detector on or not. We would not have this free-will without the wave-function and Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle.
@nickharvey7 yeah erm... the field only collapses from the 'perspective' of the observer/detector... but if it gives you a warm fuzzy feeling to try tie consciousness up into this argument then fine...go for it.
It won't of course make you right... you'll need to show WHY your right through repeatable tests of some sort to make that stick... and last time I looked there wasn't exactly any test you could apply to ideas like this!
@nickharvey7 I use this analogy for Heisenberg's uncertainty principle. If you could only observe what is on the other side of a wall by throwing tennis balls and statistical math you are bound to run into limitations. I could throw a ball and make contact with a lamp and find its position. However it could have been on a moving cart rolling past. I mastered its position upon impact, but learned nothing of its direction or speed and now that i hit it I could never know.
@ninthguardian9 Life is like that! The future is all ways uncertain we never know what’s going to happen next. In this theory this is because Heisenberg's uncertainty principle is the same uncertainty we have with any future event. Have Fun!
You understood what you were talking about up until you mentioned 'the observer' - then you transgressed into pseudo-science.
An observation in Quantum terms is any particle interaction - anything which would lead to the collapse of the wavefunction. Talking about a 'concious observer', ie a human, is irrelevant, seeing as we are a sum of our individual quantum constituents. No scientific mechanism for free will has Ever been shown to exist. Ever.
@Crayzerkade Yes anything and everything can collapse the wave-function! But this does not change the fact that we can see and can decide when and where to collapse the wave-function ourselves. As in the two slit experiment we can look at the interference pattern as long as we like and can set the detectors where we like. It is true no scientific mechanism for free will has ever been shown to exist until now!
wow, again, Quantum Atomic Theory explains Entanglement in a way that is very logical. The spherical wave front of the photon is a beautiful way to explain Entanglement. My background is electrical engineering so I haven't studied too deeply into Quantum Theory. But, This theory is the first one that really puts all the pieces together, at least for me. I really think it is the one.

Ok i have a question thats been bugging me for months and its about the Measurement problem,
If only concious beings can observe the universe, and if the universe only exists when observed...well...who was observing it before we evolved?

hey dude, this is the same way i see quantum entanglement. but then i'm a biologist so what do i know.
also, are you from the west country?
Gapperbone 2 weeks ago
@Gapperbone Yes I am from the west country, I am an artist and therefore outside of the scientific community so any help promoting this theory will be gratefully welcomed. Please share with your friends and add to your favorites. It would be nice to start a chain reaction of information a kind of quantum revolution!
nickharvey7 1 week ago
@nickharvey7 i'm from bristol myself.
so how did an artist learn quantum physics? i'd like to know the notation for these wave equations but they are.
although i don't understand it myself, i'm told the john bell's experiment is evidence against the idea of hidden variables.
could you explain what the bell experiment is meant to demonstrate?
Gapperbone 5 days ago
@Gapperbone Bell’s experiment is evidence that quantum entanglement or nonlocality, Einstein’s “spooky action at a distance” is real. It says that we cannot have a hidden variable to explain this we will always have a superposition of possibilities. This theory “Quantum Atom Theory” says that these possibilities are the same possibilities we have with any future event, the future is always in a superposition!

Commenters clearly have that impression...but its not
cloffff 1 month ago
@cloffff All classical systems change over time this process forms potential future “probabilities” of how that change might take place in three dimensional space. By explaining Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle ∆×∆p×≥h/4π that is formed by the wave particle function as the same uncertainty as we have with any future event we have a physics explanation!
nickharvey7 1 month ago
If youre going to promote a pet theory, fine, but you should try to not confuse people between this and real physics. This topic is already confusing enough.
To address one thing you've said: Entanglement is not a property of any classical wave, or any classical system at all. It is exclusively a property of quantum states.
cloffff 2 months ago
@cloffff I am promoting this as an artist theory so there is no confusion. But classical physics is an approximation of quantum physics, so everything is a quantum state is it not?
I disagree entanglement is a property of any kind of waves. If you look at ripples on the surface of water you will see that the ripples are entangled. They have the same up or down movement simultaneously as they expand out from the centre of the ripple.

Chase14videos 2 months ago

"Because it is impossible [for an atom] to reach absolute zero..."? Yeah because absolute zero manifests as non-manifest. It doesn't mean it doesn't exist. When are people going to realize that zero is NOT JUST nothing. It is simultaneously everything-nothing.
jaredroussel 4 months ago
Yes in this theory everything has a common origin, but this process is happening now. We have continuous creation so in many ways the origin is now. We have the ‘moment of now’ represented by the number 1 with the positive numbers marching off into an infinite future and the negative numbers representing an infinite past.

@nickharvey7 - consciousness is the uncertainty aspect. there are plenty of operants including online who are able to know exactly what will happen in the future - that is not because it is pre-ordained, it is because they are present in time/s 'further along' than the now moment.

Accommodate Heisenberg with a probablistic deterministic outcome, yet still allow conscious freewill for the wave function outcome. There is harmonic design in the neural outcome. Since fractality figures, we must incorporate phi; since harmonic consonance is universal, these must be combined. How? When both accord simultaneously in linear time, the wave function collapses i.e. the node of the universal neural network is realized and a new path is taken.
kepler5813 5 months ago
@kepler5813 In this theory linear time is formed by the absorption and emission of light or EMR. Each object will form their own spacetime (the rate that time flow within that reference frame) relative to their energy or mass. Each object or observer will have their own r-frame and will be able to observer the beauty of harmonics within another r- frame simultaneously. Waves by their nature have to move so this fits in with the process of continuous change (harmonic movement) in this theory!
nickharvey7 5 months ago
@nickharvey7 Thanks for your reply. I am deeply interested in the harmony of planetary movement as it relates to the 12-note diatonic scale. I am a student of Kepler in this respect. Am I and are we saying something new, here? Namely to bring fractality and harmony together within string theory? If I read Kepler and look at mass consciousness, such as in financial markets, I can see harmony very precisely and fractality both related to the five regular solids, but beyond their limitations.
kepler5813 5 months ago
@kepler5813 Have a look a Harmonic Theory based on the wave nature of matter. There are many videos on YouTube on Harmonic Theory; my videos are more about the concept of time formed by the movement of the waves.
nickharvey7 5 months ago
@nickharvey7 I have hit a snag, maybe you can help? In measuring the EMR pulses, the sine wave durations between nodes are consistent but not identical. That means the wave fronts are not equidistant. The ratio seems very close to 5-5-3-5, 5-5-3-5 etc. Should there be any sub-pattern like this in your opinion? I am using true momentum to measure the pulses.

I liked how the spin/entanglement was explained though; instead of saying some common exaggeration
emwaver 5 months ago
@emwaver If the laws of physics are universal then electrical activity causing chemical changes within the brain (consciousness) must be based on quantum physics. I do not like new age stuff this all based on the wave-function explained by Schrödinger’s wave equation represents the forward passage of time ∆E ∆t ≥ h/2π itself photon by photon. Therefore Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle ∆×∆p×≥h/4π that is formed by the w-function is the same uncertainty we have with any future event.

Did you have free-will in your choice?
bigboy45454545 5 months ago
@bigboy45454545 This theory explains consciousness as the most advanced part of a universal process. A complete theory where the atoms of an eye or hand or even the atoms of an innate object like a house brick will collapse the w-function. When we think of something new we create new electrical activity, new electromagnetic fields, new oscillations or photons changing the future of our Universe in a small way!
nickharvey7 5 months ago
@nickharvey7 I'm aware of a collapsing wave function. I'm aware of the nature of photons or even electrons on the quantum level being both a particle and a wave until being observed. But I don't think this fully explains free will. Tell me are you a Scientist of Physics or a Philosopher? I ask because without models or evidence for what you're saying this is really just Philosophy, is it not? I'm a layman and I could be wrong. The truth is thought is still a mystery. Keep working on it.
bigboy45454545 5 months ago
@nickharvey7 This absolutely IS new age, QM stabilizes at the size of a nueron, indeterminacy is completely irrelevant to free will. It is similar to saying that computers have free will because the electrons are indeterminate.
bryanpicchiottino 5 months ago
@bryanpicchiottino I have based this on the physics of the quantum wave particle function explained by Schrödinger’s wave equation and Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle ∆×∆p×≥h/4π. Electrical activity (indeterminate electrons) within the brain forms consciousness, think about it!

bryanpicchiottino 5 months ago
@nickharvey7 You understand that a computer's functions are deterministic right (obviously)? The electrons stabilize at the macroscopic level of the circuit which allows for deterministic algorithms despite using indeterminate electrons. (1 of the reasons we can't keep making circuits smaller). Analogously, QM stabalizes at the size of our neural network. Even if we did have free will (we don't... demonstrably), indeterminacy of quantum physics would have nothing to do with it. You're wrong.
bryanpicchiottino 5 months ago
@bryanpicchiottino But the quantum wave particle function is everywhere collapsing and reforming so Heisenberg’s Uncertainty must also be everywhere. In this theory this is the reason why we always have uncertainty if our computers are going to work or not! Have fun!
nickharvey7 5 months ago
@nickharvey7 You are retarded.
bryanpicchiottino 5 months ago
@bryanpicchiottino You might also be retarded, but we can’t be certain because we have Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle ∆×∆p×≥h/4π that represents the uncertainty of everyday life. The future is always uncertainty because we have a universal process of continuous change that we see and feel as the flow of time ∆E ∆t ≥ h/2π itself.
nickharvey7 5 months ago
@nickharvey7 i understand the uncertainty principle and accept that the universe, in principle, is almost certainly (no pun intended) probabilistic. What im saying is that determinism vs free will is a false dichotomy. probabilistic behavior of particles does not give way to free will. Like an algorithm on a computer, our neural network does not arbitrarily do shit. Why does this happen in a probabilistic universe? the same reason tennis balls don't go through walls: QM stabilizes @ macro level
bryanpicchiottino 5 months ago
@bryanpicchiottino The brain is not a solid state computer running simple linear programs by shuffling the 0s and 1s - nor is the brain simply receiving local inputs and dependent upon local processing nor is it restricted to producing time sequential output - indeterminacy is not irrelevant to free will - check out Dean Radin - and Bell's Inequality - join us in the 21st Century.

With that said, if any individual is confident enough in their abilities to test the merit of entanglement, I refuse to cut them down for it. Just because you and I find the testing this concept a daunting task, doesn't mean a mind that approaches problems from a different angle feels the same.

What is the "evolutionary advantage of seeing time the way we see it, linearly?
Jdonovanford 11 months ago
@Jdonovanford The evolutionary advantage in seeing time as linear is that we can see a time line and plan for the future giving our own children an advantage! There was no evolutionary advantage in seeing time as having the geometry of spacetime therefore we do not see it this way.
nickharvey7 10 months ago
@nickharvey7 Well, wouldn't there be any benefit to seeing time with its nonlinearities?
Jdonovanford 10 months ago
@Jdonovanford Yes there is a benefit to the individual in seeing time as nonlinear as in meditation. But the reason why we see time as linear is because there was an evolutionary advantage.
nickharvey7 10 months ago
@nickharvey7
this seems to be a circular argument. You're evidence for the fact that seeing time linearly has an evolutionary advantage is that it exists so therefore it must have an advantage to have evolved.
boys0fsummer1 10 months ago
@boys0fsummer1 No! The evolutionary advantage in seeing time as linear is that we can see a time line and plan for the future giving our own children an advantage! There was no evolutionary advantage in seeing time as having the geometry of spacetime therefore we do not see it this way. Even though time does have three dimensional geometry forming Einstein’s curvature of spacetime in this theory.
nickharvey7 10 months ago
@nickharvey7
What does it mean that time has a three dimensional geometry??
boys0fsummer1 10 months ago
@boys0fsummer1 Time is a variable the greater the energy or mass of an object the slower time runs around that object forming the curvature of spacetime. This is a universal and continuous process of change or creation when an object moves the curvature of spacetime also moves forming the objects own time line (linear) in that direction.
nickharvey7 10 months ago
Respond to this video... My question also deals with the problem of quantum physics. If we see what happens of several possible things, how come everyone sees the same then?

@nickharvey7 Sure, just a viewpoint on some of my understanding - further theres a similarity in my comment to online video games where they use formulas of physics where each person contain all data of a world (at each computer) and what is common world is just calculated information on each the viewers screen about others movement, position, whatever. Where some things are out of view, you discard it for that observer. On the server playground you keep track of everything as information data.

@bigrussdry Why? What is the point of such action?
nickharvey7 1 year ago
This is a breakthrough, when observer was taken into consideration by scientists. Here is another theory: There is a constant source of energy, quality and quantity of which is not changing, outside of an observer.
Observer percepts that source. That source affects the observer. Observer thinks that the whole reality is changing, but it was just his-own change Sooner or later the observer will realize the source's quality, because his quality will be affected and equaled by the source
strokine 1 year ago
@strokine Entanglement is a property of waves, ripples on a pond will expand out from their center source forming symmetry. The ripples will be entangled as they spread out over a period of time. Light wave can do the same if they are particles (photons) only when energy is exchanged when they come in contact with atoms.
nickharvey7 1 year ago
Foe me this is way too condensed to be helpful but the ideas are startling and fascinating. I think though (amongst other things!) you need to unpick the notion of the observer "choosing" to collapse the wave function. Choice without influencing factors? Or what?
martifingers 1 year ago
@martifingers I am trying to promote this theory and the more condensed the video is the more people look at it! Collapse is a word used in QM it just means come in contact with the wave function. This is happening all the time, the wave-particle duality of light is collapsing and reforming. In this theory this forms the forward passage of time itself.

carpetmonk 1 year ago
@carpetmonk It is only instantaneous for the photon itself representing a symmetry that forms the geometry of spacetime. All objects form their own spacetime geometry (relativity) therefore we are all at the centre of our own reference frame so there is no instantaneous communications.

Interesting. It makes sense that time could be an order of things that becomes visible to us. Though I think time might be a little more complex then that.
nazra7 1 year ago
@nazra7 I think you might be right and it might be a little more complex than that. But if the overall simple idea is correct that the flow of time itself forms Schrodinger wave function and that Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle is the same uncertainty that we have with any future event, then complexity can be added later.
nickharvey7 1 year ago
what is the main point of your theory that makes it different from the known quantum theory? what is the new idea added to what we know today?
i can see you define time as absorption and emission of electromagnetic waves by atoms or things creating their own reality and freedom of choice, which is a noble idea but it does not crack the more complex questions of modern physics.
osamaisathawadi 1 year ago
@osamaisathawadi The new idea is an understanding of time that forms the geometry of spacetime. This is not a noble idea but a physical process that can explain some of the most complex questions of modern physics. The answers come together like a great jigsaw puzzle once this continuous process is understood!
nickharvey7 1 year ago
This explanation insofar as it concerns an observer is concerned seems to be recursive and therefore illogical because in it evolution is both a cause and effect of time. I suppose being illogical doesn't make it wrong, but it I think it means we can never know that it's true.
genuflectify 1 year ago
@genuflectify Yes! But it only looks illogical to us because we are part of the process. In this theory there is a process of symmetry forming and breaking that predates the evolution of life giving it a geometrical therefore mathematical base. This symmetry forms the geometry of spacetime and the continuum of time itself.
nickharvey7 1 year ago
huuh?
De4sher 1 year ago
An idea I would like to also point out is time is an effective component not affective. In other words entanglement shows that any human observer is bound to effects, and has to infer the source. In other words that time is never its own entity and that motion of anything can follow different rules or have different causes that is beyond what we can observe. Our conscious development could play a role, but i am of the stance it is minor at best. It's good practice to have what i do know tested
ninthguardian9 1 year ago

In the equations of quantum mechanics almost everything is squared because this is a universal process forming the geometry of spacetime and the arrow of time.
nickharvey7 1 year ago

MumblingMickey 1 year ago
@MumblingMickey Yes you are right! In the double slit experiment the observer turns on a detector and this physically collapses the wave-function. But it is the conscious idea that leads to the physical action and we have free-will in the sense that we can turn the detector on or not. We would not have this free-will without the wave-function and Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle.
nickharvey7 1 year ago
@nickharvey7 yeah erm... the field only collapses from the 'perspective' of the observer/detector... but if it gives you a warm fuzzy feeling to try tie consciousness up into this argument then fine...go for it.
It won't of course make you right... you'll need to show WHY your right through repeatable tests of some sort to make that stick... and last time I looked there wasn't exactly any test you could apply to ideas like this!
MumblingMickey 1 year ago
@nickharvey7 I use this analogy for Heisenberg's uncertainty principle. If you could only observe what is on the other side of a wall by throwing tennis balls and statistical math you are bound to run into limitations. I could throw a ball and make contact with a lamp and find its position. However it could have been on a moving cart rolling past. I mastered its position upon impact, but learned nothing of its direction or speed and now that i hit it I could never know.
ninthguardian9 1 year ago

Ever.
Crayzerkade 1 year ago
