I don't get why people want everything to match up to the comics so perfect. I like Smallville, I don't like alternate universes , blowing stars out with super breath, and time travel. Oh and clois forever.

hey, so we haven't gotten to the season finale yet over here, but I'm pretty much up to date with what happens, but can anyone fill me in Jimmy? What's with his sketchy behaviour? He was obviously lying to Lois, so what's he hiding and why? Or haven't they rvealed it yet? Please let me know, someone! Thanks a lot.

Well I haven't really watched it since it first aired, but if I recall correctly, Jimmy is under Lex' thumb. Lex pulled strings to have Chloe not arrested by DDS in the episode Sleeper, but Jimmy was indebted to him for it.. so in this episode Lex tells Jimmy to give Lois some trail of a false story, to get her off Lex's back, and he does it, but then he feels bad for lying to his friend, and tells Lex he won't do it anymore. That leads Lex to go back on his word and DDS arrests Chloe at the end

i know :-( that's the thing that bothers me. i think they should just continue the show but make it a spin off called "metropolis" and from there it could just get started on the original superman storyline. but there are complications considering lois already knows what clark looks like without the glasses. hmmmm... oh well. i can still dream

yea, it's kinda weird, but I guess you just have to accept that Smallville is it's own show, it's not Superman and although many of the storylines overlap it's never going to be completely the same...however clarks destiny will never change...

As nice as the Lana thing is... I'd rather see Lois and Clark. The way it should be... but then, I like the comics so I am biased. But it makes me so happy to see them sparkin' together! Really, I smile. They do a good job making it beautiful in the Smallville writing department.
