What is more: Look at the situation. There was no one even near his arm in the act of shooting! Refs could have called foul prior to act of shooting alternatively --> goal does not count! That would have been a nice call, right? ^^

Its a tech. foul cause the elbow pat means "hey wheres the foul ref". So its a complaint to the ref and Korver hit the shot so its a good call for an ungrateful player.

I wrote: prior to the act of shooting --> no continuation --> no basket. And I do not intend to take the other side. I am just an unbiased observer. And BTW, the rules are not new. It has always been like that. It has just not been enforced, that's all. The refs were just given new guidelines.

Its a tech. foul cause the elbow pat means "hey wheres the foul ref". So its a complaint to the ref and Korver hit the shot so its a good call for an ungrateful player.

When you tap your elbow after making a shot during a basketball game, it means you're telling the refs how they suck ass and that you're better than them. Korver was not aware the refs knew this information. The technical was right on.
