*sigh* And when will I get to see your video, Momotombo? I check your channel every once in a while, you know :) Just waiting for that tin whistle to appear...
hmm...I think I'll try picking that tune up myself :-) What made you take up the whistle? It looks like you've got a Walton's there. How do you like it?
well, i saw a video on YouTube.. with an irish tin whistle and irish flute. that made me buy it. i just love all kinds of instruments and music :) recently I quite often bought me little stuff, percussion, little shakers and so on.
not sure if the Walton's is good. in my opinion the low tones are hard to play. maybe that's easier on another flute/brand? i haven't any experience at all with flutes. it's my fist one ever :D
You'll figure it out soon. You have a knack for making intruments sound wonderful :)
I agree the aluminum one sounds a bit flighty...for the low notes, you need to really blow gently. If you ever think of getting another one, you might like the brass or nickel-plated ones. They are heavier and have a more fuller tone.
you couldn't tell it was improvised. Such a poignant melody. remembered me of the old times. You know at school with 45 pupils all playing a different melody. Ok maybe not so good old times.
Joke apart I'm sure you will put your newly aquired little whistle to good use soon :p
Cool! When I subbed TOMSAGE channel, it lead me to this channel which I think it's fun. GREat outtakes you have here.

It actually kinda sounds like you'll learn the thing rather quickly. Learn some ornamentation and start a little slow, k.
