  • @stargatefansg1 I will make pieces of jewelry and little characters and stuff like that :)

  • @MissNinaBlack6 Cool! If you can, film it and send it as a video response to one of my videos...I like to see other people's clay work :D

  • I'm totally gonna try to make stuff out of clay, 'cause my sister used to make like little figures and stuff, and now she has a baby, and she doesn't need it anymore ... She said she's gonna give it to me, so i'm so exited!

  • @MissNinaBlack6 Awesome! What are you going to make? :D

  • Do you recommend buying a craft oven in order to bake the polymer clay or would just a regular toaster oven hold the same effect? And I've also heard that you shouldn't bake the charms inside your home but outside or in a different building. Thanks for your all your help. :D

  • @AkeraWolfe24 I've been using a regular toaster oven to bake my clay stuff. They do sell ovens at craft stores if you want a separate oven. Baking in the house is fine, I haven't had any problems yet. You can always open a window to help ventilate the room :)

  • @stargatefansg1

Thank you very much for your help and your videos are very helpful as well. :D

  • @AkeraWolfe24 Thank you for watching :D

  • Where do you buy the 'pasta machine?'

  • @HowToGirl07 I bought mine at a Michael's craft store. I've seen them at other craft stores too :) If you read the description box, I list where I bought everything that is shown in the video.

  • Thanks for this!! The only thing is none of these stores like Michael's, Joann Fabrics, Beverly's and D&J Hobby exhist in Australia where I live... so :(

  • @Deec98 If you have art supply stores, you may find some of the things. There's always online shopping too :)

  • @stargatefansg1

ya i know but i doesnt cant find anything i live in germany and in the ebay here they didnt have it and when i search on google i doesnt find what.. can you give me a link

    thanks :)

  • @stylchuck I have a friend who bought it a lot when I lived in France. She got it from stores like Bricomarché and Leyroy Merlin. I know we have a brand in the USA called FIMO by Staetler that is made in Europe. Good luck to you.

  • where do you bought the clay ?

  • @stylchuck They sell it at craft stores and online :)

  • the faces are really creepy

  • @littlelols72 Faces?

  • Thank you for this. Im going to get started in making charms and such to use as gifts and little things around the house :)

  • @TabshiMagical Cool!

  • Do you live in california, the bay area?

  • @missmacaroongirl Yes ma'am ;)

  • Video Request: can you make a video of you changing the color of the TLS. Plz and Thank Tou

  • @CraftyChibi101 If you watch my video on how to make Starbucks drinks, I show how to add chalk to change the color of TLS. You can also add a very small amount of paint or mix clay with TLS.

  • Do you have a hamster?

  • @ClayLvr At the time of filming this video, I had 2 guinea pigs but they have passed away since then. I do have a hamster now ^_^

  • Could you please tell me where you put your camera when you film your tutorial? I meen when you film all the stuff you use I see you showing it with both hands and you film from your viewing point wich looks nice.

  • @roxannetje80 Copy and paste this into the youtube search box: stargatefansg1 how do i film my tutorials. It should take you to my video where I explain my camera angle. Thanks for watching :D

  • Hey in what section and what store can u find the metal blades at??? (their at 5:50)

  • @katiesydneyclaire The large one is from Michael's in the polymer clay area and the small one is meant for cutting hair and was bought at a Sally's Beauty Supply store :D

  • Cool, ha for the knife i bught me a surgical knife :) i am sometimes so wierd .p

  • Thank you again :)

  • @RugejaBabe Sure, Thanks for watching :D

  • Thank you for putting the objects shown in the video and giving the store, it helped me so much; as for the glaze, are you supposed to put that over the chalk when you bake it? or can you use the chalk to color the clay? (i.e use white clay and brush it green so it turns green when kneaded) do you bake the wire inside of clay, or with those objects on it? I apologize if i may sound like a pest, im just really interested.

  • @RugejaBabe If you want to color clay, as in kneading colors into white clay, I wouldn't suggest using chalk. You should take a small amount of color clay and mix it with the white. Chalk will barely show up when you mix it with clay unless u use a lot of chalk. It is usually used to add detail to the outside of clay.Glaze goes on after the clay item is baked and hardened.Yes, the metal pins do get baked into the clay, that way they are sure to fit inside when you pull them out to glue back in.

  • I have those same tools got them for Christmas

  • @Kittylove219314 Cool! Merry Christmas :D

  • @stargatefansg1 By the way i went to Micheals and they didnt have those chalks i had to get a different kind and they were 9.99 and i only had 20 dollars i got a knife, which i cut my finger on,chalks and TLS, and how much did you spend on your TLS because mine was ten dollars and i got the 2 oz i feel like i got ripped off

  • @Kittylove219314 The chalks I have were in the scrap booking section and they were like $7-12. The TLS I have, I bought with a coupon so it was about $7 or so. Ouch...be careful with knives :D

  • I think it Is cheap to buy placemats to work on

  • @TamanaSalon True. The tile I have was only about $2 too.

  • thanks!

2.47 -- where can you buy that?

  • @Xisabelle1 I bought mine at a Michael's craft store

  • @stargatefansg1 I can't find it :(

  • Hey, I only have a x-acto knife and pliers and wire, and clay, that's it!!!! I'm making charms for Christmas presents!!!!:)

  • @katiesydneyclaire cool, handmade gifts are very thoughtful :)

  • hallo may i know what kinda of stuff that you use for colouring the clay? or maybe you can gimme the brand name? thank you so much for answer me :D

  • can you use brown make up instead of using brown pastels?

  • @krissykristen01 You're free to try it out. Let me know how it goes :D

  • This was really helpful. It stopped me from buying things I don't need :D

What do you use translucent liquid sculpey for?

  • @Ferretsarecute33 It has many uses. You can use it to glue clay pieces together before baking, use it as a clay softener, use it to make icing textured clay , use it to do image transfers etc.

  • Can we be youtube friends maybe >.<

  • Wow this is really helpful thanks I was wondering what I should use so this is a clear good quality video thanks :)

  • @Mamegomacupcakez I'm always happy to help :) Thank you very much for watching :D

  • @stargatefansg1 Oh and if like u made a cookie and the chocolate bits were fimo and the actual cookie was by sculpey how would u bake it xx?

  • @MissDucttapegal You're welcome :D Thanks for watching.

  • h tt p://seelieclay.blogspot.c o m

  • is tls and regular liquid sculpey the same (like do they do the same thing?

  • @TheSelGMusic Yes, they should be the same :)

  • @TheSelGMusic tls means translucent liquid sculpey, so it is the same, but written with acronyms :)

  • the uhhh soft tones i guess lol, is that like something you mix with liquid sculpey to make like a color thingy like from your starbucks tutorial (ur caramel)

  • So r these the steps?

    Make

    Bake

    Glaze

    Let dry

  • @kuku850 Yes ;)

  • i guess i need this

  • I can use normal colored chalk right? Like for example the actual chalk that teachers use to write on the chalk board. Lol I think it's the same

  • So u bake, glaze, let dry... Can you make a tutorial on how to insert headpins and make da loop de loop? And the twisty Thingy...

  • @kuku850 Wha?

  • @stargatefansg1 haha sorry... got you lost there... i was wondering how you make the head pin into the charm stuff... can you make a tutorial? :)

  • @kuku850 Oh, I just buy pre-made eye pins and trim them to the length that I need. I stick them into the clay and bake it with the clay. When it's done baking, I take the pin out and use some super glue to glue it in and make it more secure:)

  • @stargatefansg1 ohhh nvm... i use head pins... have lots at home... hmmm... you, ihaveacupcake, and other polymer clay tutorial stuffz have inspired me to do my own stuff i thank you guys very much and will check back often and look up to you!

  • thnx :D

  • do you know wich brand of clayis the cheapest????

  • @klread123 It really depends on where you shop. Michael's has a lot of sales on clay ^_^

  • @stargatefansg1 thanks a bunch ! :) but we dont have a michaels near my house or even in my city :'(

  • @klread123 They sell polymer clay at fabric stores and hobby shops too :) You may find it there or there's also online shops are a good place to look.

  • @stargatefansg1 thanks a whole bunch !(:

  • can we use it for make up?

  • @MrSlimy123 No? o.0

  • @23pollyy I you do a search for polymer clay, you should be able to find a few sites :D you can try online craft stores or amazon.

  • your missing something (i know she showed it a little) but put more about clay! it called CLAY for beginners.... no offense

  • @nursejanemk Read the title ^^ the video is about tools -__-*

  • @stargatefansg1 oh wow i gotta pay attention more hahahhaa ( laughing at myself)

  • Thank you so much for the info!

  • @23pollyy Online shops are a good source.

  • @Charlielovesyouxxx Hmmm, for sure you can find it online. I don't know of any stores in Ireland, sorry.

  • the chalk u show at 6:18 is about $12.99 i bought my chalk over my the paint brushes and paints and there is 36 color's in it for only $4.99 and goes on the clay better then the one u show here cause i have used both ill give the name later when i get in to my clay box!!! just some advice!!

  • what tempature do u bake the clay at?

  • @soneyboney It will say on the clay package. Different clays have different temp recommendations :D I think the one i am using says to bake at 240

  • i prefer to watch this with the sound muted

maybe you should get a script, sorry

  • This is awesome! I can't wait to get all this stuff so I can REALLY get into making miniatures! Thanks so much for the time and work you put into this!

  • @xINVISIGOTHx Maybe clean your house? o.0

  • PS: Thanks for the upload!

  • @SupaNurds Then you get one.

  • how much did you spend in all these, i really wanna know? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ANSWER!!!

btw! these its a great guide when you are a beginner. thnx!

  • @CraZzypOiisOn Overall, I've probably spent about $300 to 500 but I have way more tools that are not in this video. :)

  • @stargatefansg1 Is that over time or at once? O.o

  • @Lynette973 Yes, over 2 or so years ^_^

  • I will make all your tools out of clay this weekend. ;D

  • @nazaxprime sounds like a plan? 0.o

  • Comment removed

  • @stargatefansg1 Confirmed.

  • @SupaNurds then try using another brand, or try finding someone who knows about air dry clay and ask em' which one's best

  • @SupaNurds Then quit using play dough :S

  • @SupaNurds use air dry clay. (:

  • So I'm a beginner with polymer clay and I'm going to the craft store soon. Heres what I have on my list:

-Polymer clay (lol of course, idk what brands they have at that store)

-Wire or eyepins (I think I might make the eyepins w/ wire)

    -Glaze (idk which brand.. D:)

-Glue (I have clear silicone glue but idk If i should use that to glue clay)

-TLS Maybe.. (alot of tutorials have TLS for syrup for the food and stuff..)

Is this list good? Do I need more specific stuff? Help! :D

  • @chibixcandy When I first started out, all I bought was polymer clay and eyepins so your list is very good. If you don't want to buy too many colors of clay, I suggest buying basic colors so you can mix them. They should be White, Black, Blue, Red & Yellow. You can mix those to make basically any color. If you have any other questions, just let me know. I reply to everyone :)

  • @stargatefansg1 Ooh Okay! Thanks :DD Oh and after you bake the clay. does it turn hard like the ceramic kind hard? Or like.. can you still cut it up even after it's baked. Oh and the glaze ! Do you put it on before or after you bake the clay piece? Thank you ^_^

  • @chibixcandy Yes, after the clay is baked, it will be hard like plastic. If you want to be able to slice clay after it's baked, bake it for a shorter amount of time that is listed on the clay package instructions. Glaze is usually put on after the clay item is baked and cooled. I haven't seen any that you add before you bake ;)

  • @stargatefansg1 ahah I showed the stuff I made to my friends and they asked me what they were made of. I siad polymer clay, and ALL of them bought the clay too. Now my plan for their Christmas presents are ruined ! TT_TT

  • @chibixcandy Aww! Well, you can ask what their favorite desserts are and make that? or maybe make a charm bracelet of all their favorite things. Lemme know if you need any help or ideas ;)

  • @stargatefansg1 :OO Okaay ! Thankss~~~ ^____^

  • @stargatefansg1 YAYY ! I just got my clay :DD

  • @chibixcandy Awesome! I wanna see the stuff you make, maybe you can make a gallery video :D Good luck and have fun!

  • @stargatefansg1 Lol thanks ! I totally freaked out when the glaze got stuck on my finger.. It felt like super glue stuck on your finger after you tried washing it off. (yesh, I was a curious child) LOL But it's fine now :D I think.... O_O I'll try make a video .. if I don't screw any up lol :D

  • @chibixcandy Haha yes, the glaze can get quite annoying. It dries so fast that I have to wash the paintbrush after glazing every other charm before I can do the rest. It's crazy when it gets on your skin...no matter how long you wash your hands, more appears ^_^ At least we don't have to wait too long for our charms to dry, they can be worn right away Yay!!

  • how much was the pasta roller??

  • @BearsTapeStuff I think it was around $25-30 but I used a coupon discount.

  • @XxDarkViolenceOo In craft stores or online. try looking for Sculpey, Fimo or Cernit clay brands.

  • @RavenousZombie Yes, there's a lot of jerks out there. I was able to block a few from leaving future comments. Thanks for watching :) I hope your clay projects turn out well :)

  • You DONT need a majority of those things. and those "rings" are called jumprings.

  • @PhoUndObama Didn't you read the title? It says recommended....not absolutely needed. -_-

  • noob.
