Interesting video. Alas it's not life: neither is the Briggs–Rauscher oscillating reaction, the growth of ice dendrite crystals on a window pane, nor the formation of complex micellar structures in a child's bubble bath. This is more of a simulacrum of life. But it does look very cool.
