No serious scientist would claim anything this ridiculous. I read the article and they're either being misquoted or they're mentally ill. While a ripple backward in time wouldn't be ridiculous in itself, the idea that it's being deliberately "sent" by some sort of intelligence certainly is. They're doing serious science at the LHC - no fairies involved.
If this is true it only further concretes the proof of a ultimate being, and disproves everything we have come to know about our scientific enviorment.

No serious scientist would claim anything this ridiculous. I read the article and they're either being misquoted or they're mentally ill. While a ripple backward in time wouldn't be ridiculous in itself, the idea that it's being deliberately "sent" by some sort of intelligence certainly is. They're doing serious science at the LHC - no fairies involved.

if u travel back in time and u change events in such a way that it prevents something you know has happened in your time the changes wouldn't be of any real significance anyway, it even wouldn't be necessary for an entire parallel universe to spring into existence but only a relatively small local change would be sufficient, as long as universes are identical in every way they are just merged, only when they differ from each-other a local alternate universe separates from the main one.

@LochlanachViking Actually nothing is linear because the future is not set in stone. There are endless "timelines" because the so-called "future" is just a present moment that hasn't happened yet. So basically, what's yet come hasn't been created. That means the present moment can be manipulated to change what could happen, in order to experience something different. Therefore it is not bullshit; someone was stopping a catastrophe from happening in one timeline and creating a new one.

I know this sounds crazy, but it's true. About a month prior to the damage. I read a post on the internet from a man who claimed to be from the future. He said that he was sent to damage the collider and that he will be successful and it will prevent this collider from developing a black hole. And it will take approx 18 months to get back online. He was right. And I will never forget that. A few others also read that post and were amazed as well.

yeah i've heard that too, but if you (the traveler) goes back in time (by yourself) and create an alternate universe...you pretty much destroy ever thing that existed between the original point that you returned to and the point that you originally left. even if it was possible it would either be suicide or genocide. you'd almost be living in a false reality if it truly created another universe. another thing that i don't really think is possible. @rehabkid216 therotical timetravel as proposet in the stringtheory, is possible, only i theory, because of the massive gravitational forces involved.. but that said, a huge outbust of energi could create enough energy to excape the massive forces and by that preventing the outbust of the higgs-boson, to keep a sort of natural equilibrium, thats is in lamens terms ph.D Holger Bech Nielsens explanation... and so far this theory hasen't been disproven.
