@grassmanmatt um.. Don't have it on half screen size and use direct sound from your computer with a setting.. Forgot what it was called.

@dhfhs2 Well I found out I needed to download some plug-ins to get it in HD, but the issue is the size of the video in HD and still having sound issue.

@grassmanmatt Put the file into virtualdub and select "Fast Recompress". And change the compression to Xvid or something.

@simonmoshav Lol PS3<PC for gaming. This game looks AMAZING on PC.  So many graphical effects that the ps3 isn't capable of such as physx.

@simonmoshav there are many reasons why the pc is better, first of all, it does way more then play games. second, it has way better graphical capabilites, it is able to do things that CONSOLE's (you are spelling it wrong) cant do. such as physx, change resolution, and games generally look much better on the pc. also you get free online without having to buy any special cords. and one more thing, you type as though you are 5 years old, learn how to type and then maybe i will talk to you

Depends what resoloution you'd want to run it in I guess, also the PhysX requirements are pretty steep (overly steep if the demo is anything to go by). But yeah all things like bloom, shaders, all the effects and stuff should max out fine on an 8800GTX. And even if you can't run the PhsyX at a good FPS its not even an option in the console version. Whats the rest of your system specs?

sorry for late reply, i was playing medieval total war 2, lol, my specs are:

amd 6000+ 3.0ghz dual core, 8800gtx, 4gb of kingston @800mhz

I'd say you'd be fine, your specs are pretty similar to mine, apart from the graphics card, I have a GTX275 and run it with 16Q X Aliasing (which is overkill really) and max physx. Big thing for me is after having some of the physx effects I wouldn't want to play a console version, its the little things like all the paper flying around in combat that really make it visceral. And the smoke is very atmospheric. I truly am a graphics whore though lol.

thanks mate, i'll soon to get an 285gtx and that phenom 2 955, my system seems to be....aging real quick, i was so proud of it 2 years ago until crysis, lol

I'm really tempted to get a GTX295...but I think it will be a good idea to wait and see what the next wave of directX 11 cards will be like...if nothing else the existing cards should be a fair bit cheaper. Also I'm not sure how much better off I'd be with a 295...the 275 seems to run things maxed ok for the time being. Crysis was nuts, I bought games like a year after that came out that ran smoother on my old PC.

I think the Windows 7 release is something like October 22nd, so probably not too long after that.

I think ATI are going to ship a DX11 card first, but I'm hooked on nVidia so I'll have to wait a bit longer. Also Intel are putting out a GPU for DX11 aswell...that might be intresting, but its getting alot of criticism from nvidia. At the very least theres usually 20% increase in performance between generations of GPU's.

I'd lower the resolution man, I mean what resolution do you have it at now 1900 or something? Lower it to 1600 and turn physX on unless you really don't care about extra special effects which I don't know why you wouldn't. The whole purpose of owning a gaming pc is to have the special effects the ps3 and xbox360 can't do in my personal opinion.

why do you have physX turned off? Your pc is is a really good one you should be able to run this at highest resolution with phsyx turned on that is an Nvidia 8800gts right?
