y is the best... in some cases u use the up button *BUT NOT FOR REGULAR JUMPS OR ANYTHING*... u use it when ur going to l-cancel... aniki does it with his up A move. so basically "y" is the best jump button... but up is good is special cases when about to attack

fox shoulda won, but were many faults in both players. Link can be the most annoying opponent vs fox but fox was lacking anti link strat like waveshine, inv. reset at hookshot recov to shinespike etc. Link was too much up B both block way too much and both had many stupid mistakes fox got hit by links recovery up b too much bomb tossing by link, and unlucky upsmash by fox at end to a lucky [and very typical] up B by link. i applaud both for very good technique and mechanical skill

germ uses the up B too much, personally i think thats a fault cuz there are moves that can substitute for the up B in many situations, like for range hit u can use Fsmash which is faster and for a spike u can use down A. Up B out of a shield is useful tho but up B is not really that great for egdegaurd against pros.

Link's down A spike is very hard to land... and usually isn't worth risking the try. The up B will send them straight away.

true its hard to land, but the down A has less recoil and thus less risky then up B. The up B can easily by dodged if the opponent comes from underneath and edge grabs like marth's recovery.

yeah, there are glitches, everybody knows that, but look at the battle closely, it IS speeded up... thats why they wont put the time of the match, and why they wont put the original music... check the moves, the lazers, the boomerang, the background, the bombs, etc etc ... IT IS SPEEDED UP !
