just search for videos of "iran dress police" and you'll see women being arrested because their hair was showing a little and stuff like that.

just a few days ago a woman in Iran was sentenced to be stoned to death.

and according to their laws the stones must not be larger than a certain size so that the death will be as slow and painful as possible

@CIarKent My dad recently came back from a holiday in Turkey where they had an evening out in a restaurant where each family had a flag on their table indicating where they were from. There were Iranian families, Turkish, Syrian, Egyptian, Jordanian, Lebanese and even Israeli. At the end of the night there was a belly dancing competition and the wives of all nations got up and dances, encouraged by their husbands. Yup, terrible repression!
