This is a good tip/example for most people.. Right on start up nice and cold, Rev the shit out of it, and then when you return, and just before you kill the motor, Give it another blip.. Burn off all the lube and oil in the motor before you put it to bed.
What a faggot...you buy a convertible knowing its going to be less sporty in its set up than the hard top version; this goes for any supercar. This guy seems to be oblivious of this fact, going on continously about its freakin setup.
Im fed up of spoilt motoring hacks pissing and moaning about unimportant things in a teenage game of one-up-man-ship with their fellow cronies. It's not as rigid without a roof... REALLY?!
Yes you are stupid for doing a review of a convertible without taking the roof down... Why didn't you get some shots before it started raining dingus?
"ewhhh it's raining, ehhhh I don't want to drive this Lamborghini, ehhh ehhh I don't get convertibles ehhh" yeah well your face is a compromise.
he probably knows... he is talking about the new gallardo with the 5.2 direct fuel injection engine and the light makeover, i.e.: LP 560-4 or LP550-2 Valentino Balboni.
Great video!!!! I have driven both cars and everything he says I would agree with, except I do not think there is as much difference in terms of dynamics, I would say somewhere around 10 to 15% at most. That said, this would only matter on the track, and of course no one would buy a heavier spyder to race.....not at that price anyway!
IMHO the spyder is without doubt a better car unless you intend on racing it, or you live somewhere where the weather is often wet...England for example is not the perfect place for a spyder. In fact with wet roads, pushing the power is never a great idea even with the 4 wheel drive.

I have driven this car on great roads, and awful roads I would not even think of taking a Ferrari on, and it is no problem whatsoever...Remember this is not a family saloon or a rally car !
I think he has missed the biggest nit picking though..
Not so many niggles for a car that in every other respect , is probably the most reliable, easy to drive, exciting supercar to date.
An interesting point to note, the build quality is perfection, all the joints are perfect gaps..the windscreen join is so perfect it does not need a cover shield like the Ferraris, whose joint vary 2-5 mm!
listten you MUGS the spyder is not better in any way when it comes to performance obviously, as the soft top mechanism weighs considerably a lot more... however on those sunny days when you drop the roof, flick the left gear paddle (woovow) drop a gear and fly down the motor way who GIVE A F*** ABOUT THE 0.3 SEC difference in the performance.......!!!
@mmbiggle personally i would never get a convertible exotic, but i know what you mean. besides most people wont use that car to a third of its potential so that .3 seconds shouldnt matter.
hahah clearly you need to go put some vagisil on that irritated pussy of yours, and clearly you dont know what a good presenter is....pussy ass canadian.

they did make a superlegera of it

They have not made a Superleggera of the LP560-4. They have made a Super Trofeo, but that is a race car, not a street car.

@SuperleggeraVW they just unveiled the Supperleggera.

To start with, not having parking sensors on a car where no edge is visible, is a real pain. The rear camera is not really that useful.
Cabin storage space is ridiculous and could be improved. Even the space between the seats is poorly exploited.
The radio really is nothing special and awkward to control. It accepts SD media cards but nothing bigger than 1 gig..Is this a 5 year old stereo?
essbee69 2 years ago
The Gps is another pain and difficult to use.

when you chop the roof off a sports car its performance becomes worse. period. structural rigidity falls and weight goes up to compensate.
AlternativeUses 2 years ago
Not always true. The Pagani Zonda F Roadster weighs the same as the coupe and suffers zero loss in rigidity from losing the roof.

For fuck sake... thank you for finally wording reality.
Who gives a fuck about 0-100 in 4.2 or 4.6 sec FULL STOP.
Like you're going to notice it. Wether a car does 0 -100 in 4.6 of 5.2 seconds.. it's blisteringly fast and fun to drive none the less..
You'll maybe take it to a track 4 times... and on the public roads you can only accelerate to maximum speeds. AND YOU SHOULD ONLY DO THAT.
Drifting / speeding / burnouts are all not-done on the road.
