for those who don't have a sense of humour, my reply was meant as a compliment. I happened across this video so I can't claim I am a fan, but I find this ladies voice to be similiar to the vocalist for the cranberries; and I defy you to listen to radiohead ( who are brilliant ) and not draw a comparison. I'm not sayint the gathering are a rip off or anything I just imagine if radiohead and cranberries had kids it would sound like THIS PARTICULAR song. get it?

Y bueno, la razón del insulto fue porque su comentario me pareció simple y totalmente fuera de lugar. Si usted de verdad fuera "fan" de The Gathering sabría que las principales influencias de la banda son -entre otros- Deadcandance, Slow Dive y Pink Floyd. Nada que ver con los Cranberries. Eso de que los Cranberries y Radiohead podrían ser padres de los Gathering me parece una vacilada. Así que no mame. No sabía que "los chicos sureños" tuvieran tan mal carácter. No se enoje.

si the gathering fuera comercial, dificilmente hubiera pasado por 4 shows en chile, y 1 de ellos grabado en DVD y lanzado oficialmente. Las bandas comerciales son presionadas por sus sellos, y estrujadas para componer lo que les acomode a la venta. Gathering ha incursionado por el trip-rock por iniciativa propia, y esa transformación de sonido es completamente madurez y evolución musical. No se confundan con la industria, estos grupos siguen siendo under, caso contrario los veriamos en MTV

The Gathering es una de las mejores bandas que jamas he escuchado en mi vida: Justamente, alguien ha mencionado la madurez musical de sus composiciones, que partieron desde sus primeros discos bastante Doom, y terminaron en un trip rock bastante progresivo y experimental, interesante al oido, y por sobre todo que te transporta.

The Gathering, su paso por Chile... yo fui a 3 de sus conciertos, y fui extremadamente feliz.

Vaya ya entendí a qué te referías con no dejarme guiar po lo comercial de una banda.
