this guy just doesn't have a problem charging down this ridiculously steep sections, even though everything around him is harder than he is, and physics is doing eerything it can to make him quit. thats my problem: too conservative.

Actually in a biography about Bode Miller he talks about how he usually races sitting back too much. Either he has a fantastic day in racing or he crashes or just has a bad day.

ya i dont think bode would have that issue after years of prof ski racing and coaching, sitting back too far is a basic fundamental of skiing, its either a tuning issue with the skis or just bode havin a bad day of concentration, looks like he didnt anticipate enough

Maybe that should make him late, but he does every race like this and now and then he even gets to the bottom and is faster than you will ever be!

ég veit þú ert íslenskur þannig: Það er ekki alltaf slæmt að sitja aftur. Það fer eftir þí hversu aggresívann kannt þú ert með, ég þekki t.d. strák sem er alltaf á palli, hann er með einn af mest aggresive kannt sem ég hef prófað og hann situr mjög aftur.

i hate when i've been doing great on the ski practices but then on the race everything just fails.. it sucks...

I've had the same problem and I agree, It does suck. Good thing it doesn't happen to me that often. Good luck skiing next season :)
