i now this sounds stupid but what are hostile mobs? i was plaing minecraft whith my bud and he wanted to build a mob trap. then in tha morning (in minecraft) he said that he cought one or few and also he said they spawned. i didn't dare to look inside the mob trap. he has removed the cobble and made them his inprisoned pets how do u get rid of them. (he got killed 5 times removing the cobble lol.)

I just started playing minecraft. I have a house built and have mined quite a bit but am still to scared to go outside at night because of creepers. I was on top of a tower i built and guess what i saw an Enderman. me being a retard looks it in the eye and then watches as it comes to kill me. BUT luckily i had fences. so yea waited for day and the enderman died.
