The fact is, that Sora reminds Leon to Sophie(his sister), who died accidentally. Her last wish was for Leon, to succesfully complete the Angel's Act, and Sora is the one who did it.(And just Leon could be his partner)

there is many opinions about that. some say if the story would continue, 1. leon and sora would fall in love, 2. ken and sora would fall in love, 3. sora and yuri would fall in love, or 4. (the most tragical one i've heard) sora would die or be severely injured (one way or another) and leon would retire after loosing the second partner and ken would continue, but would never stop regretting sora's fate.

Nah, I'm not messing around! The worst part of it now is that the people that sponsor Kaleido Star have stopped sponsoring them, so Kaleido Star is left without a home. I don't know if the manga will come out now. You can find info online on Sayaka Ohara's (Layla's voice actor) blog. xD
