  • He's in concert in sheffield tomorrow. Be there!!!!!!!

  • I love this song. It's my alarm on my phone.

Terry Reid is the Forrest Gump of Rock & Roll.

  • I've loved Terry Reid since 1969. I have the original album Terry Reid. I have viewed the youtube downloads and am saddened how the years of pot, speed and alcohol took his health. I was in love with the man, but feel also, the most overlooked musicians ever born. I'll never forget you, Terry. Your guitar and voice make me so happy. You are such a gifted man. See you in Paradise.

  • @SuperMcabral

Well maybe, but he was in reasonable health last Saturday, whe I saw him live in his home town (St Ives, Cambridgeshire, England)....awesome performer

  • that chorus just hits me like a freight train, every time.

  • I'm bummed cause I couldn't find this song on I tunes. It's worth buying the cd though, he's awesome.

  • He almost has a Steve Marriot sound! Loved, Humble Pie! It's funny, all these people heard it for about 10 unclear seconds on wonderland, ( Hey, so did I.lol) & it stuck with them, NOW thats a song!

  • my friends are on tour. i went to visit them at one of their shows and one of them showed me this song. beautiful. can't wait for them to come home.

  • makes me ..............sorry , had to whipe my eyes. thats what this does

  • I love this song so much! I started listening to his music when I watched the movie DEVILS REJECTS.

  • me 2

  • Terry Reid has to be one of the most overlooked and underrated musical artists of the last 50 years. And to boot, he was probably the most influential person after Jimmy Page in determining what would become the final lineup of a little band called Led Zeppelin. It was his recommendation that led Page to Plant and Bonham who were at the time playing with the Band of Joy.

  • @Jakuta11 im so glad you said that..thank you....im not the only one lol

  • @Jakuta11 agreed...very underated....in fact only a very small percentage of people even know who he is.

  • @Jakuta11 jimmy page asked terry to join the zep and tery s mom would not let him!

  • An Amazing song.

  • @Jakuta11 I agree with the first bit of your comment. I wish more people appreciated his music - although I'm glad it's not spoiled by the american hollywood fame influence. I just love his music, went to see him in York ont he 12th of May 2011, and I'll never feel more at home than I did then. Was so worth the plane tickets and the cost of the overnight stay.

  • @dfpoe me too thats why i looked it up

  • Terry was in great form @ the studio on april 6, 2009. He had the audience in his hand and gave them his heart. I 'm hoping someone has a video of TERRY REID @ THE STUDIO NYC, 4/6/09... the band was a special one:

Ed Rainey from the Cosmic American Derelicts Band on guitar/ slide

    Tony Cimorosi NS upright

    Tony Beard Drums

    Benny Harris Keys

Terry and the band had a great connection ... Hope to see some on YOUTUBE soon.

  • I first heard this in the film wonderland with val kilmer, in love with it ever since!

  • ATTN: NYC! TERRY REID is performing live at The Studio in Webster Hall on Tuesday, April 7th 2009 at 8PM in New York City. This is a show not to miss as you know if you are watching and listening to this video now. DON'T MISS IT!

  • I wish someone would cover this song so the children of today can hear what a great song this is and how good music is supposed to sound.

  • muther fucker its gonna feel good to get back home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I got to get this album!

  • i heard terry reid for the 1st time, on The Devils Rejects film. i wonder if there's better Southern music than this.

  • He's British.

  • Comment removed

  • @hendershawn,he was from Huntingdon which isnt really southern its more over East Anglia way if I remember rightly

  • this is a really good song!

  • So few people have ever heard of Terry Reid. Thanks for posting this so i can send links, and let people learn what music is.

  • Hard to believe this guy turned down jimmy page to be the original front man for led zep. In the end i guess we all win cause if had said yes this track wouldn't exist

  • this song makes me entire soul melt

  • Mother-Fucker... man, TERRY REID is the best 60's/70's "Folk Rocker"

  • really good stuff....

  • amazing

  • excellent song

  • first heard this from the movie Wonderland, this guy is the Forrest Gump of rock!!!

  • me too. tried looking for it at itunes but they don't have it. figures.

  • I found it on limewire. Downloaded it to my media player, then synced it to my mp-3

  • led zepplin wouldn't have been led zepplin without without any of the boys and god know we might not have heard any of these great songs by terry and i guess we get the best of both worlds with terry and zepplin

  • Terry Reid is a timeless classic.

  • this is something special never thought i will be missing out on this !!! found out on the wonderland soundtrack guess got lucky.

    Coutesy of Edward!!!

  • I got hooked on Reid through The Devil's Rejects, which features three of his songs. Ever since, I can't stop listening to him.

  • same here!!!

  • aervin32: kduquer is right. Jimmy page approached Terry Reid when they were still the yardbirds. Terry Reid I believe reccomended Plant when he turned the offer down.

  • Absolutely a great song and definitely a great artist....this song brings back some off the hook memories...!!!!

  • I listen to this song about once a day... no shit. That's how much I love it. I just uploaded my other favorite song by him called "The Way You Walk"... if you haven't heard it before, you should listen to it. It's amazing :) Thanks for posting this. Every time I hear this song, I just picture a chair on a beach with me in it and a margarita in my hand.

  • kduquer you are making stuff up, there is no way led zeppelin ever wanted to replace robert plant, you're full of it so quit trying to be smart

  • Um, no... he's right. Terry Reid and Jimmie Page had too many artistic differences, so it didn't work out.

I can't stand clueless people who talk shit...

  • What artistic differences? What didn't work out? No offense, dude, but they never got a chance to work together. When Jimmy asked Terry to front his new band (soon to be LZ)Terry wanted to but couldn't because 1.he just signed a solo recording contract with Mickie Most and 2.he was committed to tour with the Stones. He couldn't record OR tour with LZ - he was already spoken for on both counts. Simple as that. So he insisted that Jimmy check out his buddy, unknown singer Percy Plant. Cheers!

  • I can't remember if I read that on his website, or if that's what my Dad said...

  • not replace him. he wanted reid before he ever met plant. reid introduced plant to page because he had prior commitments and couldnt do it and the rest is history.

  • How can this not make u happy? specially 1:40-whatever

  • i found out about terry reid through wonderland. its one of my favorite movies and this song makes it that much more great. im buying this album right now!

  • beautiful song

  • YOU the MAN STAN!!! How good it feels to get back home <3!~!!!!!!!!

  • hey mjv1985, thats where i first heard it!

  • This is absolutely one of the best songs ever

  • I just posted a few Terry Reid songs that youtube didnt have check them out on my videos

  • word this sum good shit yo

  • Good song. I liked the way they used it in Wonderland.

  • Thank you so much for the song. I am just finding the Great Terry Reid. I will purchase all I can of his. I can't believe he has escaped Cameron Crowe thus far in his films. Maybe Cameron reviewed Terry back in the day and I missed it. But Cameron, if you're listening, make Terry part of your American cinema history. What a GREAT (putting it mildly) ARTIST!

  • fantastic song nice one!

  • I've always loved this song. :)

    Thanks for posting it.

  • yo dehinger it's funny that you said that because that's how i first found this song too. great song for a cool movie next time use song id from verizon if u or your friends have it. peace

  • Bought Bang Bang when it first came out and have been a big fan since. I wish he would tour New England. (specifically Western New England, if you're reading this, Terry)

  • Wicked song.

Love Mr Zombie & the makers of wonderland for introducing me to this amazing musician.

Can't stop listening to seed of memory, bang bang, to be treated and this one

  • im cunmming

  • i discovered Terry reid in my younger sisters record collection and stole it after listening to May Fly................it blew my mind, I still own it, and even though I don't own a player anymore, I would never part with it

  • Thank you so much for posting this!

  • this is a pretty good song.. but As I discover more of his music.. I'm more found of the slower stuff......But Damn the talent this man has

  • so is terry reid lou reids brother?

  • Nope. Terry was bornn in 1949 in Huntingdon, England and lived for some time in the Birmingham (UK) area. He was Jimmy Page's original choice for the vocalist for Led Zeppelin, but Terry suggested Page check out Robert Plant and the rest is history. Terry is one of Britain's hidden heros. His musical credentials and credits are fantastic. I've been a fan since the late 1960's, saw him at the 1971 Glastonbury Fayre and I'm glad you've found him too.

  • Yeah I knew that he almost fronted for zeppelin I read that on wiki. I only ask cause there was something about lou reid on the movie. But yeah I'm new to terry reid I'm glad I found him too. It be thanks to Rob Zombie

  • both led zeppelin and deep purple approached him to be their lead singer. He is incredible and very under the radar wich is great.

  • Used in the party scene in "Wonderland"really sets a good tone.I did learn the song on guitar mostly by ear and got chords and words off some site
