  • @MrBMoreFitness Sorry that my reply wasn't quite what you'd hoped for. I try and give relevant replies when possible - which I guess is why I was directing you to my website where there's loads of info. There's only limited characters to use when sending messages and it all takes time (especially with my 1 finger typing). I know a lot of people who don't bother replying at all. Indeed if that had been the case you may well have forgotten all about it. E mail me if you want to have any more info.

  • @timmymosedale well thank you for that. I'll check your site out and if there is any questions i have i'll just email you (and will wait for your reply when & if you have time) and just for the record i hope you didnt interpret my last comment for being unappreciative because i was appreciative to the fact that you took the time to responded ...i guess I just had the wrong perspective in your reply, that's all. but cheers & be well my friend.

  • put a geocache there please haha

  • bring a gopro hd hero 2 mounted on a helmet next time and post a long video of the climb :)

  • @blixtenkarting Thanks for the comment and hope that you enjoyed the show. Going back again in 2012 so hope to be able to get more footage. There are a few other films and uploads I've posted which may be worth a look see.

    Cheers - Tim

  • @timmymosedale That is great Tim!! I look forward to more pictures. My brother who is out of shape is now climbing Mt Kenya right now. I suppose that's like nothing compared to Everest but still I admire his great effort.

  • Props to you, it takes a special person to climb into a freezing hell with no easy escape, I just couldnt do it

  • @brillowpad1 Thanks for the comment and hope that you enjoyed the show. Going back again in 2012 so hope to be able to get more footage. There are a few other films and uploads I've posted which may be worth a look see.

  • Fantasic ! Congrats on that feat ! Did you have to use oxygen at top ? Im reading the Bear Grylls book facing up and its v exiting ! How dud u get on with the Ice fall ? It looks scary !!! Cheers. Ali ( scotland )

  • @bonerbell Thanks for the comment and hope that you enjoyed the show. Yes we used oxygen - it's a HUGE undertaking and it's even bigger without Os.

Going back again in 2012 so hope to be able to get more footage.

There are a few other films and uploads I've posted which may be worth a look see. That way you'll see some footage about the icefall - which wasn't too bad when we were there.

Plenty of photos at thebige2012.co.uk as well.

    Cheers - Tim

  • Certainly was. There's Everest 2011 upload as well and I'll be back again in 2012 for even better video footage. Hope you enjoy the show. Cheers - Tim

  • I bet it must have been a great feeling to literally be on top of the world.

  • I don't think I could ever climb to the top, but I would quite fancy learning how to skydive, learning how to base jump, learning how to use a wingsuit and then throwing myself out of a plane at the top of everest and flying past :)

  • The amazingness of this is just too much for me to handle alksfjalks

  • @lillyandbelle Thanks and glad you enjoyed the show. There's more on my site. T

  • Wow!! Amazing!! What a pretty picture up from there.. Thanks for the video..

  • @vbmithun Your welcome. Glad you enjoyed it. Look out for the 2012 footage - longer, bigger and better! Tim

  • This would be the most amazing view a man could see over all.

  • @Mehumbertin Thanks - truly amazing and I'm still chuffed with being able to go back again. Going again in 2012 - watch this space!

  • There are not many people who can say they climbed to the top of Mt. Everest. . . Wow

  • @xD34DxxS1L3NC3x Thanks and I hope you enjoyed the show. Back again in 2012 so watch this space!

  • @wtficantgetausername Thanks and I hope you enjoyed the show. Back again in 2012 so watch this space!

  • @timmymosedale do u undergo special training for this?

  • You went to the top of the world ... and came back down! I salute you man! Next stop, South Pole/North Pole? Respect.

  • @Fearosius Next stop ... back on Everest in 2012. Watch this space. Cheers - Tim

  • congratulations and God bless you my friend

  • @r3b3lul6 Thanks - Tim

  • Sweet Video Man. Upload it in HD though, if you can.

  • @Jaboie In Nepal right now and just back from expedition. I'll see what I can do when I get back. Cheers - Tim

  • Is Mount Everest the highest point on Earth? Maybe one day I could reach the top.

  • @ZeizeTheDay Indeed it is. Maybe one day ...

  • Thanks for the feedback and glad you enjoyed the show. More to follow next year!! Tim

  • I really want to be on Everest and just gaze at the night sky, that would be a truly amazing experience.

  • @ajaksbackpac if you gazed the night sky from up there you're probably dead

  • @macdean True, I would freeze to death...be a pretty cool death though *no pun intended*

  • ive said it once and ile say it again,,YOU ARE AWESOME.will my dream of climbing this amazing mountain come true, probably not :/

  • Hmmm .... the cost of the trip is from US$45,000 to US$85,000 but then there is all the necessary pre requisite skills that you need to build up as well. Plus gear. So whatever trips you plan make sure that any new gear you buy is fit for purpose and versatile otherwise you'll have to make multiple purchases. Good luck with your venture and if I can help with training then please get in touch. I'd suggest a 5 year plan minimum ... but you could well do it in less if you concentrate your efforts.

  • can u give me an idea how much it would cost. i hav no experience and i would be starting from scratch...

  • Glad you liked the show. And good luck with your venture. I've posted various other vids and footage so have a browse. Hope you enjoy the show. Tim

  • Hey thats cool ur up there i just started my climbing carrer very young and plan one day to be up there my self

  • This has nothing on Yewbarrow!

  • @Adschi2010 Indeed you are right. Hope you enjoy the other footage and vids I have posted. Tim

  • weather looks really clear ,,,, did it stay like that for long ??

  • @mattl1762 No ... it crapped out in a couple of hrs and all became a bit nasty. We knew we had an 18hr weather window on the 30th May & so progressed to the top camp (8,300m) in pretty windy conditions on the 29th. Then the wind dropped ... how exciting! But we still had 4 or 5 hrs before we were due to depart and also knew that the 18 hrs could well be less. So off we went. Got to the summit. 15 minutes there and then back down. By the time we got to the top camp it was a white out! Perfect.

  • @timmymosedale thanks for reply,,always wanted to do ... still maybe will .,,, funds ya see ,,, keswick tho , lovely place , went there about 2 years ago ,, i spend alot of time in the lakes fell walking and the likes ,camping with DAD BRO and my eldest SON ,, any way thx again !!

  • @SkyRuler12 Excellent. Good luck with your endeavour. When are you going?

  • seems a tad windy up there, odd for such a small hill.

  • @lokomotivfc1 Nice 1. Hope you manage to check out the other vids and uploads. Going back again next year so hoping for even better footage. Watch this space. Cheers - Tim

  • i was there... ALONE..

  • @ugobuk68 Cool

  • im climbing ben nevis in 4 weeks time but its nothing compared to everest..i dream of climbing it but i can imagine the expense is immense..shame :/

  • @megabowzer100 Good luck with your climb. Yes Everest is a tad expensive. The peak permit, expert Climbing Sherpas, excellent Base Camp facilities and plenty of oxygen all cost money. Hope you manage to check out the other vids and uploads. Going back again next year so hoping for even better footage. Watch this space. Cheers - Tim

  • That's beautiful , Tim - you've got some serious courage to get up that hill. Definitely deserves a pint!

  • @Badsellcut Thanks for the comment and I hope that you enjoy the other summit posts from Everest 2005 and 2011. And, yes, I had a pint when I got back down.

  • Wouldn't it be frustrating if, upon reaching the summit and starting to video the panorama, you realised you'd climbed the wrong peak!

  • @neil9327 That would, truly, be a pisser.

  • Well done to you Sir.

Dont want to sound flippant but did you feel like shouting " Made it ma, on top of the world " Serious question.

All the best to you on your next climb timmymosedale.

  • @pwcf5 Yup - it's a real 'whoop whoop' moment ... but then you realise you have to get down as well so back in to serious mode for the descent. I never let my guard down until I'm back in Base Camp.

  • @timmymosedale

Thanks for taking the time to answer my stupid question, when and where is your next climb, look forward to seeing the vids. ( You guys are crazy in a great way. lol )

  • imagine zip-lining down mount everest

  • How long can you breathe without support at this altitude?

  • @Bobcheloo Not very long, but it ultimately depends on your training in handling high-altitude environments.

  • @Bobcheloo Some people manage to summit without oxygen and they are totally awesome. Other people have to have their oxygen on all the time (but they still summit which is an awesome achievement in itself). I used oxygen for the summit push and then took it off when I was on the summit to make sure I wasn't wasting any that I may find helpful for the descent.

  • how high up is it? i climb GOATFELL in ARRAN SCOTLAND every few months with my dad and its about 2500 ft high , but i know its nothing compared to this haha xD

  • @cjdee94 It goes all the way to the top. Currently 8,848 or 8,850m but this does depend on whether the tide is in or out. More summit footage available from this year as well. Hope you enjoy it. T

  • @cjdee94

    30,000 feet

  • @cjdee94 im sure you've all ready gotten a reply but it's roughly 29,028 feet.

  • I'm glad you think it's cool (it was pretty chilly actually). Anyway I managed to get some longer footage on the summit this year when I summited again - I've posted it on YouTube. There are various other vids as well - hope you like them. Cheers - Tim

  • @timmymosedale i was wondering if its really 20 grand to attempt to climb it. i was all pumped to start training in washington and the south americas and heard that and found it a real shame that a dream can yet again be crushed by money and a lack of sponsers. i dream of that peak ever since i was a little boy.

  • This video is cool, on top of the world! Which others have you climbed, what about K2? How difficult is everest? It must be something else seeing it with your own eyes at the top of everest!

  • thanks =)

  • @darkdada77 My pleasure. There's some 2011 summit footage as well if you want another look see.

  • u guys are my inspiration...i just turned 17 and im going to be hiking to a bit higher than base camp (camp 3 pr 4), but i cant wait to be able to go to the summit someday when im old enough to not need my mother's permission hahahahaha

  • in the beginning I think he says "there's another hill over there"

  • we should build a skyscraper up there.

  • How does the summit get snow if its above the clouds??????? Someone help me out!!

  • @VidPro95 :S i never thought of that LOL someone help us out

  • @VidPro95 it snows up there all the time

  • @TehAWAL But I thought the summit was above the clouds.

  • @VidPro95 sometimes but the snow up there also gets blown off by the powerful winds so i has to

  • Congratulations man!

  • @lombizzleable Thanks for that. Hope you enjoyed the vid. Got a few others posted as well with better footage from this year. Going back again next year so watch this space. T

  • @timmymosedale WOW, Well done. I'd love to climb Everest, if I go, I'm going to take a empty water bottle, walk to the highest part on the peak, get snow from there, and put it in a water bottle, then when I get back to the base, dump the snow into a one percent solution of polyvinyl acetate resin, so it will remain snow for ever at any temperature. That'd be cool, to have snow from the top of Mt Everest, in your house :)

  • @FienStudios your smart

  • @TehAWAL LOL

  • Yup, it's quite a challenge. And the only way down is one foot in front of the other - with superhuman strength and help from our team of talented Climbing Sherpas without whom we wouldn't get to the top in the first place. Takes a lot of concentration and presence of mind as we'd been permanently on the go for quite a few days by then and you certainly don't want to drop your guard and make a mistake right at the end of the trip. Hope you like the other vids I've posted. T

  • Just a question.. getting up is a challenge. How about getting down? Do you climb down or does someone come get you?

  • Waoo , Dicen que lo mas, Espectacular, al Llegar a la cima, es que puedes Apreciar Claramente la Curvatura de la tierra. LAstima que En este video no se Aprecio del todo bien.

  • @tonny1alvarez Muchas gracias...

  • @timmymosedale Ur Welcome , Hey You speak Spanish?? you Been in evereste top?

  • I don't understand the need to climb to the highest place on Earth because you can, but I certainly respect you for the strength of will and body that you must have in order to so so.

  • @mwitty100 I guess everyone does it for different reasons and have different aspirations in life. It's nice to have accomplished it when there are still so few people, in the great scheme of things, who have summited. Hope you like the other vids as well. T

  • It would suck to climb that, then somebody tells you, "Oh, this isn't Mt Everest! *Points the the next Mountain* That is Mt Everest!"

  • @MrKizzler99 except its the highest point on earth so you cant mistake it for a different mountain.....

  • @MrKizzler99 Indeed that would be a pisser.

  • @MrKizzler99 LMAO, I fell over laughing with that

  • So what's it like to stand on top of the world? Knowing everything on Earth is below you.

  • @tiki2188 Yup, it's a pretty awesome feeling. Hope you like my other vids and downloads. T

  • Respond to this video... Thanks for the comment. Hope that you like the other vids and uploads I've done. Cheers - Tim

  • @GirliqueDownUnder Thanks for the comment. Hope that you like the other vids and uploads I've done. Cheers - Tim

  • Thanks for the comment. Hope that you like the other vids and uploads I've done. Cheers - Tim

  • Super!

  • You forgot the sled!!! lol Beutiful video mate, my cousins brother died when trying to climb the Mt. Everest :/

  • @budulislt2007 Thanks for the comment. Hope that you like the other vids and uploads I've done. Cheers - Tim

  • What's taller Mount Everest or the sears tower?

  • @XiuTheFeared lol. Think about it for a second. Do you have to become aclimated to go up the sears tower.

I am pretty sure that everest is like 28x taller than the sears tower.

  • @BeepimajeepBeep Yeah, I just looked up the facts about Everest and holy shit it's big. I thought the Sears tower was taller, shows how much i know. I still dunno why people spend so much money to get to the summit of mount everest, you go way up look around for a bit, then you go down. Sounds like a waste of time and money.

  • @XiuTheFeared I'd spend that much to climb everest. But so many people die, that it may not be worth it. I wouldn't go into to debt to climb everest tho.

  • i wonder if anyone has ever smoked a joint up there

  • Thanks for the comment. Hope you like the recent 2011 summit footage as well as the 5 part vid I have posted of the whole expedition.

  • @timmymosedale Sir - you guys were no O's ? Or just at summit ? Boukreev was a heroic ( as you know ) climber - Just curious . Congratulations - Be safe . Are you a Expedition leader ? Did you know Anatoli , or perhaps Mr.Hall - I was obsessed with this mountain for several years - The irony that IMAX was not only there , filming them pushing late , and then securing there safety - Just so .. I don't have the words . Thanks again , just curious . no reply is necessary

  • Congratulations mate !! what a fantastic view !! you must have been through hell to get there...

  • @tesoro1109 Thanks for that. It was a great trip but very cold on the North side of Everest. Went back and summited this Spring from the South side - check out my other videos for more summit footage and a video montage of the trip.

  • theres my house

  • @Dodomctoto Nice 1. Hope that you like the other vids and uploads I've done. Cheers - Tim

  • how long was the whole expedition ?

  • @jellynation I was away in 2005 for nearly 11 weeks (did Island Peak with a group to start and then nearly 7 weeks on Everest). This Spring I was away on Everest for 8 weeks and a day.

  • just listened to your interview on radio Cumbria. i LOVE travelling to Keswick and walk around Derwent water. that's my achievement. Ha Ha Ha. Must be an amazing experience climbing Everest. Greeting's from Liverpool. :-)

  • @85hellopeople Thanks for the comment. Hope you like the 5 part vid I have posted of the whole trip.

  • THIS IS SO AMAZING!!! I WOULD LOVE TO BE THERE SOMEDAY, TOO BAD I CAN NOT CLIMB SO HIGH LOL

  • @aerodiana1988 Thanks for the comment. Hope that you like the other vids and uploads I've done. Cheers - Tim

  • Well done - thank you for this.

  • @moondog203 Thanks for that. Hope you like the 5 part vid I have posted of the whole trip.

  • Have you been on the summit a couple of times?

  • @lessiv Yeah - 2005 and 2011. Going back next year too! Hope you like the 5 part vid I have posted of the whole trip.

  • @JoshyDude15 The 2005 trip was with a bunch of friends (and on the north side which is cheaper) so we kept the cost down. My 2011 trip was on the south side and I had some private clients so I was working (and being paid). We summited 20th May and I've posted another summit vid - hope you like it.

  • omg that is so beautiful

  • @oOCryingWolfOo Glad you like it. Posted another one from my 2nd summit a week ago - hope you like it.

  • @timmymosedale

    i'll like it surely!!!

  • @Waiting7up Thanks for the comment. Hope that you like the other vids and uploads I've done. Cheers - Tim

  • @oOCryingWolfOo Thanks for the comment. Hope you like the 5 part vid I have posted of the whole trip.

  • how much was the net cost for climbing everest?

  • @bijps2shtr I ran the trip on the south side at US$38,000 - a snip compared to the US$60,000 to 85,000 that most of the companies charge.

  • What would you say is more difficult Ascent or Descent?

  • @BeyondAchievements About 85% of accidents happen on the descent.

  • @BeyondAchievements Both are pretty difficult. Ascent obviously more tiring as you are working hard against gravity in a rarefied atmosphere. But descent is when you are more jaded and have been on the go for a long time so time to really concentrate.

  • SO you made it to the top, but do you have the balls to get down?

  • @KabirSethi1 Evidently yes.

  • @KabirSethi1 the video would not be on here if he didn't get down, think about it you fucken tosser

  • @KabirSethi1 Evidently I do!

  • @Joshydude15 sponsors probably

  • @Metallicaguy91 Far from it. Self funded for the 1st trip and working for the 2nd.

  • Just Incredible!!! Well done... what an awesome view

  • @175hydro Glad you like it. Posted another panorama from my recent trip when I summited 20th May - hope you like that one too.

  • that wind must've been brutal and nice summit. :D i would climb it but im scared to death of high places... but the view would be worth it.
