@vangestelwijnen O:10 there is T72, next followed by T 54 and BMP. abandoned by retreating troops in Iraq. Apparently armor plates, local residents twist off for scrap. Judging by the shabby appearance. A lot of T55, T62 and Type 59. It seems they they are not repaired just to breakage the thrown out.
@vangestelwijnen Chinese Type 59 tanks and Type 69 and also a practical one, Type 79 is very similar to T72. The fact that at first I thought so but it's almost all Chinese. But do not confuse them with the tanks of the USSR. Chinese tanks have armor twice thinner than the Soviet. But they are two times cheaper. Type 79 has a 105 mm gun, T72 125 mm. Under this type 79 was not able to damage the American Abrams.
@redneck10ivan Thanks a lot for this information. They look so simular, but you just never can beat the original, I guess. Looking back, the Iraqi's were probably better of with the T72's... for a few days extra.
@vangestelwijnen interesting tanks USSR object 279 and T-10 (Object 267) stood at until 1993, was a secret tank that has been immune to the 105 mm guns, and he had a 130mm using uranium warheads, was able to penetrate the frontal armor thickness of five feet . (The Missile Crisis холодной войны)
Many 0f the bravest Men were on board of these Tanks, but fighting the whole World and 2B against the whole World it's the biggest mistake been done by 1 Man!
No because the U.S. govt uses depleted uranium so If they fix them the radioactivity will still be present to kill other soldiers who might use them. It's pretty sad what our govt does...
Old stuff T55-T62, bmp-1.It seems these tanks have died of old age rather than from the bombs the United States. :))

@redneck10ivan Remarkable mix of Chinese and Russian hardware. Any idea if these tanks are still there, or have they been scrapped by now?

You would still have a tank that is 2nd or 3rd rate at best. The reason that they are where they are is they came in 2nd place in a gunfight.

most of these tanks can be repaired and work.
