Yep, at first I was WTF no way better than Maradonna, but when you watch the the full build up, the passing and ball control from deep in their own end, the Brazil goal was the deserving #1. The 1970 Brazil team was the greatest ever, though the 70 England squad was very unlucky to lose 1:0 in an earlier game. England actually outplayed Brazil on the day.

I found out all Argentina's goals at the World Cup were mostly made because of Messi's effort, he gave quite some assists and he was a very dangerous guy.
Currently he plays the same role as Iniesta and Xavi do at Argentina, behind te strikers up at midfield. Again giving lots of assists.

Yep, at first I was WTF no way better than Maradonna, but when you watch the the full build up, the passing and ball control from deep in their own end, the Brazil goal was the deserving #1. The 1970 Brazil team was the greatest ever, though the 70 England squad was very unlucky to lose 1:0 in an earlier game. England actually outplayed Brazil on the day.

@sirjeffreyful Maradonna was one of the best, but I don't like him because of his personality and because of the unfair 'hand of god-goal'. And messi, he's good, and sometimes he's a genious, BUT only in a worldclass team... Barcelona. If he plays with argentina, he isn't that good (f ex at the world cup). I think there are better players then messi. He is slighly overrated. Players as iniesta and xavi do the work for messi. They make him so incredibly good...

@johnduckable456 It seriously is a nightmare to play in the current Argentina team. The team is full of selfish players, such as Aguero, Tevez and Higuain. They will always try their own luck first. I found out all Argentina's goals at the World Cup were mostly made because of Messi's effort, he gave quite some assists and he was a very dangerous guy.
Currently he plays the same role as Iniesta and Xavi do at Argentina, behind te strikers up at midfield. Again giving lots of assists.

@johnduckable456 To me, Maradonna and Messi are opposites in terms of personality, so I have no problem with him on that, but I agree with you on being slightly overrated, even though I'd put him higher than Ronaldo. Now there is a definition of overrated!
