I would kill for some people here to have some spirit like A&M but if as you say sports are about what have you done lately, then A&M hasn't wont a national championship since in 1939 right? While UT's last national championship was in 2005. But I cheer for the Aggies all the time except when they play Texas.
@Nbrayton17 that's exactly the problem, the loyalty and spirit isn't there for UT. A&M would never self destruct so bad to go from #2 to #60 in one season. Aggie fans would never let their team down like what happened this year in Austin. To me UT fans are the same as tech fans on steroids. If Texas has 3 years of losing seasons the stadium won't be half filled. A&M would still sell out

No I'm a sooner. We whipped your ass thank you very much. A few years ago we did it 77-0, that was awesome. But yeah, I'm not really trying to bash you or your school though we kinda got into that. I've just always been impressed at the tradition you guys have come up with with the lack of big time achievements.
Thats kind of my point. Most schools get big stadiums and chants and all that from winning national titles. You guys just went ahead and did it in hopes you'll get one some day.

I went to one of these yell practices back in 2002. The next day A@M upset my No.1 ranked Sooners. It was a sad day for our team, but it was defintely a trip I will always remember. These fans are very passionate and it's without a doubt the best student section in all of college football. Great band too. This is all coming from an OU fan. Big 12 power.
I think "Fight'm Aggies, Hey". And then they whoop. My school played A&M a few times while I was in school, and I went to a Yell Practice(I think in '98). One of the neatest experiences of my life.
