Actually, the tempo is pretty spot on for the live recordings that Joan Baez did of this song. The studio version is slower but Mike's pace on this is quite accurate by concert standard tempo only. It's still played brilliantly!!!

I wish I could have been there... Joan's Vocals sounds great as always, and Mike's playing sounds so awesome in this song. Without Bass and Drums to overkill the little mic of a camcorder, you got some pretty awesome audio quality there too!

Well thanks. It was a pleasure to have Joanie perform for us. I know both her and I agree that we'll be smoother the next time we do it, but for a completely unrehearsed song and one I learned a few days before the video, I'm happy with it.

Joan is too kind. I was only the accompanist for this song and would love to do it again so I can do a better job.
Again, in my humble opinion the song is the artform. All any of us can do is to try and express it and connect with the audience.
This piece has stood the test of time. It's as beautiful today as it was when Baez wrote it about her love for Bob Dylan.
