  • I like his voice in this song, it's deeper and different. Nice song, sad and funny at the same time!

  • Judeiac, nice interpretation! I made up a story to go with Millie and Billy (I gave it to Alice's road manager to give to him; didn't include my contact info, tho--I hope he liked it). This is such a cool video! Thanks for making it.

  • Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it. : )

Millie and Billy is a great one! I hope he liked it too.

"Guess love makes you do funny things" LOL (that line always makes me laugh)

  • omg. sim alice cooper. i wonder if he's ever seen this. FTW!!

  • ya know this song makes me cry when i was young my sister was the only one who stood up for me and like she still is i mean i can fight back but i save my energy for a real threat.but i love my sis

  • It's actually written by Johnny Cash.

  • As far as I know the song is by Alice Cooper and Ryan Roxie, not Johnny Cash. It is just delivered in an exaggerated Johnny Cash style.

Alice has done other songs in this way. The song Disgraceland on the album Dragontown has parts that are sung in an Elvis style.

  • I didn't know that. Makes sense since I can't find the Johnny Cash version of this song anywhere I look.

  • Is this song based on a true story or just one of Alices stories?

  • Well, this story is one I made up to go with the song.

I don't know Alice's story behind the song. I've never heard him talk about this one.

  • It's about a gay guy who is fed up with being hated and shoots everyone in a rusty spoon by the highway.
