Does that work on bigger opponents? Also how painful is it? It looks like it could hurt your forearm nearly as much as there knee.

Good questions. Size isn't that much of a factor and it doesn't hurt your arm at all. The main problem your opponent can make for you is if he sees it coming and straightens his leg. Once he starts to straighten his leg, give it up.
