  • " No body's perfect! " I LOVE Yul Brynner! as man or a woman. What a great personality!

  • Wow...how have I never heard of this movie before!?!?!?

  • HAHAHAHAHA, sooooo funny! Perfect in both sexes, my beloved Yul. <3

  • So, so, cool...

  • But who was singing?

  • Isn't he beautiful?

  • Now I remember being traumatized for weeks when I first saw this film in a theater.

  • He's a good looking woman

  • Would you like to buy a GIRL a drink, Roman? :-)

  • I love this movie. The real singer is Miriam Karlin, she used to do a lot of stuff with Peter Sellers. She was the Cat Lady in Clockwork Orange.

  • @rogerbune The Cat Lady! Great trivia..

  • LOL! I was like. "H'mm gee, that face looks familiar".. Then woosh! off goes the wig!

and WOW! LOL! Its Yul! LOL!

Yul is my fav actor, and always will be <3

  • Amazing cameo by Yul Brynner, one of the sexiest, sensual, and macho men who even lived, as a hypnotizing female torch singer! Only such a rare talent as he could project his unique smoldering, hypnotizing beauty & sensuality into every role he ever portrayed. Great ironic comedy here too. As long as his image exists in photo & video, he will be a testament to passion & haunt many dreams....

  • Incredible! Yul Brynner is one hell of a bloke ... & that's got to be John Wells at the bar, am I right?

  • I love this movie!

  • It takes a lot of guts for a man as virile and sexy as Yul Brynner to dress up as a woman and get away with this incredible performance. And even in drag, he is sexy as hell - what a great actor - they don't make men like that any more - well, maybe in outer Mongolia....

  • Holy shit, I never knew that was Yul Brynner. How cool. What a shock.

  • I actually watched this today for the first time ... it's always great to know that - when you think you've seen them all - there's good 'obscure' stuff out there!

AND to see Yul Brunner in drag and Christopher Lee - man, did I smoke something?

For people who enjoyed this film - I recomend Britannia Hospital (1982). Not quiet as anarchistic but definitly has a similar "vibe".

  • one of the 1960s best movies.

  • does anyone know who is the real singer?

  • Yul Brynner, wow!

  • i knew it.

  • "lord knows i'm not a schoolgirl..."

  • I saw this in the theater - a full house - about 2 min in my buddy shouts, "it's a MAN!!!" We both lose it - then laughter hits spots of the audience until Yul doffs his wig and the place goes nutz. Now that's movie enjoment1

  • agreed : D

  • I'll bet that the blonde lady sitting at the bar is Sharon Tate...

  • Had me in stitches...Oh noes..Oh yes...classic moment from the King of Siam.

  • Oh no...Oh yes...Yul Brynner killed me with laughter and put me in shock at the same time when I first saw this. You just can't get much more random or off the wall than this movie. Don't even get me started about Raquel Welch and her slave girls down in the engine room.

  • Brynner KILLS in that role! Love this film. Can't get enough of it.

  • "Mad about the boy..." lmao since 1971 with this one

  • OH NO!!

    OH YES!!

    AHHHH HAHAHAHAHA

  • A classic moment from a funny movie!

  • Never knew it was Yul Brynner in drag.
