  • they should do shotokan , its real karate

  • @555hansy Shotokan competition rules are boring and the viewers wouldn't like it.

  • @555hansy okinawan karate is real karate

  • 6:37 wow i like this ^^ hehehe go go go...

  • why would they go to okinawa to learn kyokushin? ^^

  • the Japanese black belt would have been scolded by his masters if he went all out against a white belt, even if it's a giant like Bill. discipline goes over personal gain for a fighter on that level, he gets more respect from his people by showing restraint rather than dropping an axe kick on bills shoulder etc.

  • wuaw....they relly are tough....he gets the jab to the jaw and touches it afterwards like "hmm...tickled" respect....

  • karate is an art, every martial art has its own applications. if you want to brawl then karate is not for you..descipline should comes first..if you studied 6 years of karate without even appreciating it, thought that it is nothing compared to MMA?then the problem is YOU!..IT IS HOW YOU CARRY THE ART..IT IS HOW YOU DO THE ART IN ACTUAL SITUATION..

every martial art has its own advantage over the other, NO MARTIAL ART IS SUPREME, IT IS HOW YOU MASTER YOURS..

  • thanks for uploading! :D

  • "Sensei, decided to show us a strike that can stop the heart."

And yet you cant use it in the final fight!

Thats the second reason why I don't want to learn attacks like this!

[The first one is that you could KILL someone!]

I'd rather beat jerks in away where they DON'T die!

  • bill did a lousy fight, he cant take a hit, i know its a black belt but he offered himself...

  • Nice editing ... at 5:02 Bill is wearing gloves and when he fights the guy, no gloves.

  • japanese karate > american karate

  • i got a black belt in shotokan karate when i was 14, did 2 years of various kung fu, western kickboxing, then some time doing savate (for fun you know, not mega seriously) then i went to a MMA club and got my arse KICKED. In my opinion if you mix a solid muay thai/ boxing stand up with a very strong BJJ ground game, youll be a really great fighter. im no where near but working on it!!! Karate was good to learn as a child, good values to it etc, but a crap fighting system.

  • @MetalSnakesUK I did not say throw away the techniques. I said ignore the rules of a traditional karate competition. No punches to the head? Bullcrap. No kicks above the waist? Bullcrap. No elbowing? Bullcrap.

Use the techniques you learnt. They are good. The block is powerful and damaging to the opponent. The punches are strong and solid. The kicks are refined and accurate. Use them. Ignore the respect you need for your opponent when you are in a competition and just fight using your skills.

  • wow bill finally gets to fight

  • 0:08 looks like hes just took a piss lol

  • 7:08 The audience look disappointed and pissed off.

  • jeez get real, if you fight a kyokushin guy, adrenaline takes over and you're probably gonna end up hitting someones face by mistake. shit happens

  • damn bill he punched that guy in the face on purpose outta desperation... fucknn arrogant prick

  • bald guy relied more on power then speed he was taking way to much im suprised he stood

  • wish we could see his leg 1 day after, it must be like blue as hell

  • I wonder if the karate dudes strenghten their faces constantly beating at them with sticks or something because he took the blow but he reincorporated like nothing happened, no bruises no blood, nothing, he was all normal and his facial expresion towards bill was like saying "it's alright man, don't worry about it, it happens all the time, i'm fine" lol

  • The black belter was just playing around. He never did any high kick and all he was trying to do is to test Bill's legs. He could have easily thrown or break Bills arms, or give Bill a juicy high kick to the face but he didn't. This is disappointing. I was waiting for Bill to get knocked down again like what the Taekwon guy did to him on their TKD sparring - a crunchy spin-kick to the head, instant TKO.

  • I'm all for 'Human Weapon, but seriously... The only thing the black belt did was land crippling blows against a giant hulking white guy. Come on, like anyone skilled enough to get black belt would do something foolish like that. If he wanted to finish him, he would have.

The Japanese have an admirable respect for others. That's the only reason why Bill isn't in a hospital, and the black belt gets paid back with a straight jab to the jaw? Wow. Unbelievable.

  • @weidrake yeah, you saw when Bill said he felt his rips compress... the blackbelts wrist was loose... that's the opposite of what karate's all about in puching, at least as far as I know...

  • @weidrake good point but remember that they both have been doing martial arts for a while they are not just beginers so they would not be realy easy to beat the crap out of.

  • @weidrake Well, i was thinking karate isn´t hard enough to beat a giant like Bill, i only saw crapy and shy hits to Bill´s chet, even i could´ve done that.

But it is probab,y what you point, that the guy simply didn´t wnat to kick his ass, even so, Karate isn´t as devastating as Muay Thai for example, as it allows to hit people with your elbow and knee directly to the face, it is maybe the most devastating art on earth, but okinawan karate is great too.

  • @Mrgokueldestructor

true, but I think it still depends on the fighter + IF a karate black belt should be allowed to hit the face I think he could beat a muay thai fighter, because of his speed..just my opinion by the way ;d

  • @TrinityMusic00 i like to view the different martial arts as a weapon (i.e a knife). Karate, Muay Thai, Boxing, Kung Fu etc are all different kinds of knives. In the hands of a master, they are all deadly. Which is the best knife? It depends on the user's preference. If there were a knife fight and one walked away was victorious, would you say he had the superior knife?

  • @weidrake pfft. go get a black belt in karate, ive got one. then go to an MMA club (like i did) and act like youre invincible. youll learn very fucking fast that you arnt. i did, thats why i study MMA. karate is redundant bullshit. anyone who disagrees can just look at any NHB fight to realize it, and this is coming from someone who spent over 6 years learning karate 3 days a week, every week. it was great for conditioning, learning some discipline etc, but it wont help you fight really...

  • @MetalSnakesUK haha spoken like a confused lobbyist.

Here's the thing. I HAVE a black belt in karate. What you seem not to understand is that karate is not an engine of destruction. It focuses on technique and discipline. Why did you get thrashed? Because you treated the fight as a karate competition. If you had thrown away the rules and just used the techniques, you might have gotten somewhere.

I'm no great fighter either, but I've been in my share. Karate is not weak as you make it sound.

  • @weidrake lol all ive heard from that speech is that the only way youd make karate a decent fighting form is by throwing away the rules. you think id fight without using techniques id had pounded in to me for years and years? i think these days, in nhb fights etc, karate is pretty redundant. It hurts me to say it as i was quite proud of what id achieved in it, but im a better fighter now using mauy thai/BJJ. im not saying im great lol, but im a lot better. how many karate ufc champs are there?

  • @MetalSnakesUK All former, but Lyoto Machida, Chuck Liddell, GSP, Bas Rutten...

Those I can mention by heart But of course, UFC is not real fighting. It's a sport. So, on order for karate to work, you have to add some moves and remove others. But in essence, it's the same art with same principals. Karate was designed to deal with thugs on the street with no particular fightingskills, armed or unarmed. The more advanced karate, the better opponent you'll beat. Even those with fightingbackground.

  • @weidrake and also what people never realise is that these two guys are actually trained proffessionals and know what they are doing.

  • @weidrake I totally agree... you could see the disgust on almost every japans person in the room when he slogged the black belt in the face. And the guy was clearly going easy on Bill as not to be disrespectful to him, then he goes and dose that.... and then tries to make out he gave him a good run for his money... he should watch a real black belt match if he thinks he wasn’t going easy on him.

  • @weidrake

fully agree with you man, I think the other dude would have done a way better job at sticking to the rules and showing respect

  • Lots of racism in your comment.

  • That's what i've been looking for: non-sport martial arts!

  • 3:10 hes saying "good luck" but thinking "you're gonna die".

  • I'm only a first dan, but really. there were to grapple at all, not to mention a complete lack of any kicks except the snap kick. All the guy had to do was to trip bill with any wrist throw and kick, and bill would have been been down for much longer because of his size. I realize that I do Ruku Kempo and Karate mixed together so it is slightly different but there was a complete lack of variety in the final fight. So many chances for a throw or finger/ arm lock but they were ignored. Shameful.

  • he always tags the final guy in the face lol

  • same face at 2:25

  • hah look at his face at 1:29 after the series of attacks

  • The blackbelt saved him not using the high kick. Shimajeri is a beast.

  • bill cant fight for shit

  • why didnt the black belt used high kicks ?

  • i love karate . going for my orange belt

  • @jalen77232 good luck :) I'm going for my yellow belt

  • lol jaw = shattered. it looked painful

  • this fight is totally to easy for this guy. my kyokushin sensei would kill him with a high kick :D

  • @Tfukijaki you're AWESOME!

  • @Hernantolio :DDDD

  • horrible style in the kumite at 8:00

  • Why he is talking bout "surviving"? LOL That wasn't full contact at all!

The man with a black belt didn't hit or punch that fatty in 100% of his strenght. Only last low kick that I saw here in this video was nice.

If that black belt would kick fatty in full strenght, he would won in 15-20 seconds

  • Thanks for the heads up

  • Many different, I think this one is goju ryu but I'm not sure what the others are

  • @maphitha1 Sir the other styles or ryu is Kyokushin that was created by Mr. Oyama Mas. and the other ryu was Uechi Ryu (Uechi Kanbun who trained in a Chinese style that was called Pangainoon half hard haft soft) the name was changed to Uechi Ryu to honor Mr. Uechi, Kanbun. Osu

  • WHAT FOR A STYLE HAVE THEY LEARNED ?

  • Bill is way too slow, unflexible, and unfit. I thought Karate would have more high kicks though

  • these guys are a joke hahaha

  • why does jason and bill alwyas go "SSSSS" when they strike lol

  • @treshnefix

it's to regulate the oxygen around the body

each action will take muscle movement which uses oxygen the longer their going the more oxygen the muscles will need and the less oxygenated blood the heart can provide

even the simple task of talking uses too much oxygen so it's just a quick movement of the tounge which will cause the heart to pump , pumping more blood to the lungs which becomes oxygenated which goes to the muscles

    -hope that helped-

  • lol illegal atom bomb, ahaha u guys too stupid to make atom bomb u dont even know about it

  • that fuckin bald pussy landed cheap illegal jaw shot which change the fight....

as japan was fuckin in ww2 but illegal ATOM bomb change the fight

    FUCKIN AMERICAN PUSSY

  • @rodtorre7 bwahahahaha "illegal" atomic bomb

  • @metaldesire4

Atomic bomb = sore, impatient loser psychopath with a lot of money, no self respect. Luckily, Okinawa never got hit by any atomic bombs, so LOL @ ignorance and hatred. I'd rather be underground with the MA than lost and trapped in the majority of the cheats.

  • If you notice something about the final fights it's that Bill seams to do better than Jason for the most part (yes Bill got knocked in Taekwondo) but he seems to do better in his fights. Which is strange in a way because Jason has way more martial arts experience and pro fights than Bill. But when it's time to fight Bill holds his own if not does really good for someone who came into this with very little knowledge compared to Jason

  • @TheMr28Leo hey there. i agree with you yeah but when you say that jason has more martial arts experience that doesnt mean much coze just like them im a martial artist. i do karate goju-ryu. ive been doing it for less 1 and a half year than my mates and yet im the nacional vice-champion in kumite :) your experience means less than the efficiency of your training. just my opinion

  • @kyuubifox66 Glad your seeing things that you need to pay real attention to like me so thanks for agreeing. I do agree with you that it's effectiveness of your ability's that make a difference. Like you I'm the same with time in the Dojo but what I learned and know I can apply and do very well I also know I can really hurt someone if I wanted to but don't. I've sparred hardcore with a few Black belts with years of training and all that but beat up on em up pretty good. So I respect your opinion.

  • @TheMr28Leo thanks :) i hope theres more people like you and me out there. true martial artists :) the heart and soul of the fighting art

  • @kyuubifox66 In martial arts size means nothing whether your the bigger person or they are. Your taught to attack vunerable areas of the body on any opponent to defend yourself. It's also natural to strike a part of the body that's going to cause the most pain.

  • @TheMr28Leo thats cause he's twice as big as his opponents and is always punching them in the face. =/

  • @TheMr28Leo I noticed that too, particularly in the Ninjutsu fight. Probably because he is taller, therefore has more reach. But he probably got a lot of body conditioning from his football years. And never underesitmate wrestling training. Might not be as sophisticated as eastern martial arts, but still respectable.

  • Well, that was fun. Someone should have told him how to block a low kick:-) These kind of fights seem like a war of attrition and not like the kumite I know & love in our Isshinryu dojo. I think it's better to put on gloves & tone down the contact a little because this stuff gives you bad habits for the real world.

  • i dont really see this as a draw the okinawan guy was laying way heavier kicks and punches

  • Too bad the black belt that lost his footing didn't fall properly. Could have broken his wrist. Good fight though.

  • anyone of them to heard of blocks

  • 0:59 hes wearing make up!!!!!

  • all asian martial arts documentary have these words: secret, centuries, master, student, ancient, sensei, attack, nerve, deadly, honor...

  • @solidysnake1 thats because they need to they would be saying 'this is a 70 yr old ............. who will be teaching us to ............. the ............... with ................ force' lol love tis program i do karate but a newer watered down style when im older i want to learn okinawan karate......

  • @solidysnake1 HAHA Your so right...

  • @solidysnake1 lol

  • WTH?? 1:27-1:29 So fast and funny
