No squats... bah. Squats are one of the few compound exercises that people can do to get the most dramatic body changing results in one simple exercise. I am surprised Bowflex didn't think of incorporating this into the machine. It looks like there ultimate version with the traditional bows has it. Unfortunately I have the old original when it first came out and it has even fewer leg exercises than this. Only reason why I still carry a gym membership.
What are the dimensions of your room? Do you have plenty of space for leg extensions? I'm considering getting one of these and would like to know how it fits in a small room of 11'3" x 10'. Thank you.
The Bowflex Revolution is 10' when you extend the leg extension to its fullest. So when you take into account your feet on the end of the extension, you will be fine. The width of the machine is 5 feet with both arms extended horizonally. It is a great tool. You will love it.
I believe in the Bowflex Revolution. It is a great tool. I do wish that it had a way to do squats though.
The upper body workout is great. The leg curl, leg extension, and leg press are also great. I don't really care for the foot harness but it works muscles you did not know you had if you use it.
My workouts last 60 to 70 minutes, now that I learned what to do.
To answer your question, YES the Bowflex Revolution gives your body a great workout.
