How to Inflate a Tubeless Tire

Everyone has a piece of rope lying around so this is a good everywhere solution. But I use a ratcheting nylon strap which is a bit easier to use.

@finehomebuilding You won't believe how much time I spent asking around tyre shops about how to pump up tubeless tyres and the myriad of answers I got but not one of them worked. I check out this video and low and behold... IT WORKS. Cheers mate.

I had to inflate four tires today which all had gone flat. This technique worked great on three of the four tires. The last tire simply wouldn't seel properly. So, I tried the other technique which is posted on YouTube using WD40. I sprayed the WD40 around the tire, lit it on fire and then inflated the tire. It was unreal how quickly that technique worked. Of course, you have to be careful but now I know another way.

I struggled for 1/2-hour with no luck before watching this video. Then 2-minutes later the tire was inflated and back on the mower. "Good tip Bruce" indeed!

This worked great. I always took it to my mechanic. I couldn't find a rope at first so I tried it with a bungee cord and then a cable wire. Note that these do not work.  I eventually found rope and it worked perfect.
