  • Clown humor is humor at its basest. This video had a "higher" level of humor, especially with the play on words: "men of colored-in faces", stabbed because he "refused to wipe the smile off of his face"?? Shot because he persuaded someone to smell his squirting flower? As he's being shot to death, his last words were "tough crowd"?? This is good stuff.

  • You know, there still is a lot of prejudice toward the clown these days. The 60's didn't do jack for them. "Shot a clown for honking," was a common saying back in the day of the gunfighter. I am glad to see revisionist historians are starting to note this more.

They use bad grammar, cross-dress and encourage our young people to drive about town in small vehicles accompanied by tiny dogs wearing inappropriate headgear. Had their eradication been completed those many years ago by heroes like the Earps, we might today have a happy slapstick-free America.
