Band of Brothers is one of the most celebrated, most realistic adaptations of oral history from one of the field's most respected authors. Are you implying that both the series and the book are actively ridiculing these men by including moments of typical soldier's humour into the story?

It definitely isn't very funny at all, and this was certainly an unfunny part of the series. BUT, you shouldn't say that that's a generic woman's perspective of war. Sure the uploader is kind of tasteless for laughing at that, but not all girls view war like that (my girlfriend included). So yeah, they're not as bad as you think. Try to snag one of the good ones before it's too late. Smart girls seem to be a dying race these days.
