Lucky. It's hard to say where that speeding ball was traveling and per-chance, she was probably safer behind those bleachers. Plus, without the full video clip it's hard to say if the father's response was hectic due to the sheer amount of chaos, or if he was intentionally reaching for the ball, which based off of common sense, is really hard to believe.
